Mine was buried even deeper, under Devices -> Typing -> How AI has helped you.
(Spoiler: it hadn't helped me. But it was on by default.)
This is one of those cases where it's not clear what this feature is doing because Microsoft is deliberately obscuring what it does, but there's something I deeply dislike about Microsoft learning to correct your mistakes so that you yourself do not learn to fix them. Underlining a mispelled word with suggestions is one thing. Auto-fixing them without your notice is not helping you improve in any way.

The Thanksgiving that Herman and Granpa Got Drunk and Dropped the "F" Bomb on Betty White.
The Munsters debuted on CBS in September of 1964. The show was an instant hit, and it was decided that Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster) and Al Lewis (Granpa) would appear in the annual televised broadcast of the Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Gwynne didn’t enjoy public appearances because it took hours to get in and out of that Munster makeup, but it was in the early days of the show, and he was convinced this would be good for his career.
So he and Lewis rode the entire parade route in the open Munsters coach, waving to the crowds in the chilled November air.
Stephen Cox, who wrote, “The Munsters: A Trip Down Mockingbird Lane,” interviewed Karl Silvera for the 2006 book. The makeup man explained how Gwynne fortified himself against the elements on that chilly November day in Manhattan.
“Fred had brought along a bottle with him, wrapped in a paper bag, and he got fractured,” said Silvera.
Apparently Gwynne started yelling obsenities at spectators. Silvera, who had the job of playing the Munster’s TV theme as they rode along, kept cranking up the music to drown out Herman’s unseasonal greetings.
Eventually the Koach arrived near the platform where parade TV hosts Betty White and Lorne Greene.
Well oiled by this point in the parade, Gwynne recognized them both in the media box, and, according to Silvera, cut loose to the cameras with a loud, “F– you!”
Once again, Silvera cranked the volume way up on the Munsters’ theme.
“I thought Betty White and Lorne Greene were going to fall off the platform,” Silvera told Cox. “But I have to admit, it was funny.”
The Munsters were not invited back for the 1965 parade.
Well, thank goodness she wasn't oppressed when she died alone and unloved.
She was also schizophrenic and a radfem.
You just said schizophrenic twice. (Barely joking, radical feminism is virtually indistinguishable from paranoid psychosis.)
Shulamith Firestone was one of the founders of radical feminism in the United States. At age 25, she published The Dialectic of Sex: The Cas
There's also the 'delightful' 🙄 Sophie Lewis who pushes similar ideas.
The feminist thinker Sophie Lewis has a radical proposal for what comes next.
One can have a certain level of sympathy for these people. They never appear to have had the most joyful of lives.
But that sympathy wears thin when their 'solution' appears to be something that leads to more suffering, rather than less.
I know how fortunate I've been. I grew up in a stable, loving family, and I've been able to build a loving family alongside my hubby.
I'm aware that not everyone gets to be so lucky. I've seen the misery of dysfunctional families, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.
But then those of us in the 'Pro Family' Brigade aren't encouraging the building of 'dysfunctional' families, in fact quite the reverse.
We know that strong, loving stable families don't happen by magic.
They have to be deliberately build and carefully maintained day by day.
Of course this takes a lot of effort. But the result is well worth it.
