Totally did a new sketch, today. Named her Abigail. I'm thinking of including this girl in a story somewhere, but I'm not sure how. Idk. It'll go into my mental design storage.

New design for TeeTurtle! Most of my work there is collaborative, but this one's all mine, baby. And this was fun to do. And it glows in the dark! Buy the shirt at http://www.teeturtle.com/products/movie-magic Fave it on Deviantart! http://garrettvfinazzo.deviantart.com/art/Movie-Magic-497772794
My newest painting. It's from another reference from /r/redditgetsdrawn. This time it was u/amandalillelund.
Passing the time at work...
Another version of that last piece.
I was waiting around at the laundromat, trying to find something to do, and decided to check /r/RedditGetsDrawn for someone to paint. I saw this cool cat right at the top of the page, and I knew I had my subject. This kid is too cool for school. Thank you, u/RaptorGoRawr, for having an awesome son.

Work in progress of the character portrait for the dwarven earth genasi I'm playing in my 2E Planescape game.
Another /r/redditgetsdrawn thing. This time it was VaBookworm87. Still trying out that new brush. Still doing practices and studies.
Testing out some new brushes. Well, one new brush. Well, a few, but I primarily used just one. The one that I like.
This is reddit user baymandernamonia who posted this picture to /r/redditgetsdrawn. This is really just a sketch.
Tried a different, looser lineart approach. Didn't take as long as the last few attempts, but I'm not satisfied with the result. Worked a bit longer on the tones this time around.
I was practicing lineart on my Intuos and it was taking me as long as some paintings. I figure lineart would be easier on a Cintiq. I eventually stopped trying and slapped some five-minute tone jobs on top of it all. Little bit of info: that walrus is an acid walrus I created for a game I was playing with some friends and the skull and coinpurse drawing was something related to the 2E Planescape game some of us just started up. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you'd probably just judge me if I explained, so I'll leave it at that. And the demon was mostly a design exercise. No big deal.

My Christmas present for my mom! She isn't the kind of person who wants a lot of stuff, but she tells me she always loves to get some of my art. Hopefully that's true, because that's what she's getting this year. I could've drawn some flowers or Jesus or something, but all that seemed boring an unoriginal. She's a huge Jeff Bridges fan, though. She doesn't fangirl out about just any dude, but she loves this man. I figure she'll like this.
I'm going to see the Hobbit, tonight, so I drew Bilbo Baggins!
A work in progress of another guy from /r/RedditGetsDrawn. Picked this one out because the image was all Game-of-Thrones-y.
Used a picture of u/smariroach and his brother for a study over at r/redditgetsdrawn.
Lost my tablet stylus for awhile. Found it, again. Drew a sea turtle to celebrate.

I did the St. Louis Game Jam over the weekend and my team came up with this game, S.U.C.K. A dwarf runs around a mine with a vaguely steampunk vacuum cleaner and sucks up dirt, dynamite, and other objects, moves around, then spits them back out wherever he wants. It's a puzzle adventure game. You have to wander around the levels and find your way to the surface while avoiding ravenous moles and giant spiders that have been invading your mine. I was one of the artists on the project. Ended up doing the title screen and control screen, the animation for the dwarf, and a few game assets. I only had 48 hours, so I couldn't take the time to clean everything up as much as I wanted, but I'm pretty happy with what we ended up with. This is the first time I've ever animated something, so I'm kinda proud of what I did. Blown up real big like this, it looks choppy and the gif format didn't handle the transparencies well, but, once you shrink it down to 96x128 and put it in the game, it looks awesome. I also did an animation for sucking upward and another for sucking down, but don't have those gifs, and my edition of photoshop won't let me make them. So, alas, you won't see them for awhile. I'll still be focusing on stationary art, but now I've gotten my feet wet and am more likely to do animation in the future. Jenny Gibbons did the S.U.C.K. logo, all the text, and the keyboard controls. I did the 360 controls and everything else you see here.
Been working on my lineart skills, lately. I think they need some improvement. I've wanted to do some Avatar fanart for awhile, too, so I used Sokka as my test subject.
