I am always trying to make my little yard more enjoyable for summer. This time, I turned my wisteria into a Party Tree. It may not be a grand old tree like they have in the Shire, but it’s good enough for me to sit outside and prepare for the class I teach next month. I think Bilbo would be initially very critical, then approve after I get him his elevenses ☺️.
The purple thing that looks like a bed is just my outdoor table with blankets over it to make it look less worn and weathered.

Rereading The Fellowship of the Ring again and idk how far I'll make it this time before my attention span wanes, but it's funny how the opening chapter reads a little bit like Pride and Prejudice except that instead of a single man in possession of a good fortune being in want of a wife, it's an heir.
