I'm sorry I really don't buy Zuko being friends with the rest of the gaang post war like he's SUCH an odd man out compared to the rest of them and he has the least reason to stick around 4 other people given that he's an absolute monarch and is kind of busy. Post-war zuko is like, a guy they're friendly with and get invited to events for not a guy they hit up for tea every week, they barely even know him

The fandom tries to get around this by putting the Gaang in the Fire Nation for dubious reasons (“ambassador”) as if they don’t have better things to do than orbit around Zuko, a guy they spent one or two very stressful weeks with as an ally after several months of him being their enemy

Well they are friends, Zuko is a part of the group hugs 😀 but he definitively isn’t flying around the world on Appa with the Gaang, for me Gaang is those four guys like in season 2, those four live/travel together but Zuko lives in FN with Mai
