Well anon, it's quite simple. None of these characters are white, or from Europe. Most artists tend to draw euro-centric features. Artists could try to draw the characters with the features of the ethnicity the characters are inspired off of, or the features they have in the show.
My brother in christ (/derogatory)
I'm not even oop, but
YOU ARE EXPLAINING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
(Mod, add the "draw the rest of the fucking owl" pic)
Kataang shippers who follow and engage with Zucest shippers (*cough cough* Zutara_was_never_canon *cough cough*) and then call Zutara problematic for XYZ are massive hypocrites.
tbf a lot of them either don't know or follow less bc they think zutara is problematic and more bc they think the shippers are annoying

βI don't understand how Zutaras will call Aang a deadbeat dad, then turn around and theorize Zuko being Kya's deadbeat dad. What happened to making OCβs and being creative?β
ββββββββ
They do. Itβs just that when they look up their kids on google itβs Deviant Art Pics From 2009 of Azula Clone Gremlins with Blue Eyes lmaooβπΎπ

If you're going to complain about the characters having "white features," you need to explain what that means, with specifics. Otherwise, how are fanartists going to understand what they need to do to improve their representations in your eyes?
And if you can't explain it in non-racially stereotypical way that an artist will understand, shut up until you learn how.

This fandom is interesting because if you say anything about the air nomads fighting against the fire nation or aang killing ozai then you hate victims of oppression but then they get made at bryke for creating antagonists who are vigilantes that go to far which apparently means they hate victims of oppression...
So like are we pro victims killing their oppresors or not? because atp it seems people don't actually care about victims of oppression so much as having them be the perfect victims.

When I see a white artist's drawing of a POC with European features, I am unconcerned with helping them improve their skills as an artist, because's it's not a skill issue. and even if it were, if they wait around expecting to critique from others more than introspecting, they weren't going to improve anyway.
