He looks towards the sky. It's tainted red, filled with the sins of the people living below it. His gaze is focused on the lone white orb in the blood-red sky. Heaven. Anger and pain blossom in his dead heart, his grin never faltering.
He will do anything to get his beloved back.

EDIT: I took this from Bluesky without checking the full context (didnât really think I needed to because it seemed like something Miyazaki would say. Still I should have) since then it has come to my attention that he was specifically talking about ableism here and not directly about AI.
Quick update. Sorry for being off the grid for so long. I've been busy with exams and will continue to be up until my med school entrance exams.
I do hope to continue writing after that. Plus, I'd have a lot of free time after and will be able to pump out fics like a maniac, lol.
Hope to see you guys soon <3
Stay tuned.
P.S: Lowkey, I think I've been shadowbanned for some reason. I'm not able to reply under posts anymore and haven't been able to send or receive private dms. I have no idea what's happening, but we'll see.

So a few days ago I got a comment on one of my stories. It was not the worst comment I have ever gotten but it was not nice either. I found it rude, demanding, and condescending. I confess, my reply to this comment was snarky and sarcastic.
I then got a reply from the poster claiming they were very blunt due to being neurodivergent and that they could not help it. They just wanted me to write them a story. I had ruined their good opinion of me.
I wrote back apologizing for hurting their feelings. I explained they had also hurt my feelings and that my response was partially in response to that, partially because I know who comments like that affect authors. That we work hard on our stories. I pointed out they had not even said they liked my story. I gave them advice on how they could have phrased their comment instead that would have made it less offensive to the author. At this point I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt. Yeah no, they sent another response calling it victim blaming and cyber bullying. The victim blaming was pointed out solely in response to the first line they said which was 'I am sorry your feelings were hurt' Also got an accusation of name calling, which no I did not. At this point I am just going to delete their comments and block them.
For people who consider themselves to be blunt but want to consider the author's feelings as well, here is some comment advice. The comment I received that started this was 0/4.
Tell the author you liked their story. You can put details or even just a line of heart emojis. If you did not like the story, silence is golden. Please use the back button.
Do not be demanding. We are not machines. Something like, 'I can't wait to see what happens' next is fine 'UPDATE' is not
It is fine to share ideas, but just like in 2. do not be demanding. Unless the author has asked for prompts, do not have expectations
Unless an author has asked for it, no constructive criticism. It is fiction, let the author write what they want.
why would 8 be brought up if itâs EVEN in a post about ODDS??????? the post said âevery single ODD number has an âeâ in itâ not âevery single number with an âeâ is oddâ what the fuck

When our love was new, and each kiss an inspiration.
But that was long ago, and now my consolation
Is in the stardust of a song.
Masterlist
Time seemed to stop for Alastor.
Those bright, beautiful eyes he had fallen in love with in the mortal world, turned to look at him, acknowledging his presence.
His ever-present smile wavered a bit, just until those eyes turned away from him to look at Lucifer.
Despite Charlieâs cries for help and Luciferâs aggressive disapproval, all he heard was silence. His glowing red eyes bore into the back of his belovedâs head.
Youâd gone to heaven, of course you did and he knew that for a long time. He had scoured the ends of hell for your presence but found none who held even a shred of your likeness. He was relieved at first, knowing you would be spared from his violence, knowing you would be safe.
But it wasnât long before he felt a sense of longing, desperation, and want to have you with him. He knew that if he played his cards right, his powers would help him grow stronger. He would be strong enough to bring you back to him.
Even if it meant he had to rip out those striking wings of yours.
Those very wings that blocked his vision now.
He let out a static sigh, ordering his dead heart to calm down as he approached the party.
âNow, now, Your Majesty,â he started, letting his hand act as a barrier between the two of you. It is rather uncouth for royalty like you to act in such a brazen way.â
His eyes shifted to yours, holding your skeptical gaze. He could feel not a smidge of recognition deep within those irises.
His stance faltered for a fraction of a second before his grin widened as he turned to the king of hell who was still seething.
âWhy not give this angel a chance to explain themselves, hm? Unless youâre incapable of behaving like an adult, let alone a king?â Alastor jeered.
Hearing this, Lucifer turned his blood-red eyes to Alastor, gritting his teeth and speaking, âAnd I think you should behave like the easily disposable subject you are.â
Charlie, feeling a murderous staring contest begin between the two, intervened.
âDad, this angel has come to give our hotel their blessings,â she explained, moving over to you, âAnd they have proof from Sera! Right?â
Her nervous eyes shifted to you, begging you to try to quell this disharmony.
âYour daughter speaks the truth, Lucifer Morningstar,â you said, summoning the scroll into your hands and holding it out for him.
Lucifer snatched the scroll to read it himself, his eyes moving over every word. Alastor leaned over to look through it as well. As soon as he reached the end, he let out a guffaw.
âOh, this is hilarious!â Alastor exclaimed, wiping away a fake tear, âThe High Seraphim pitying us helpless demons?â
Alastor let out a dramatic sigh, holding a fist over his chest, âOh howâŚ,â his static faded, only to grow louder as you felt his presence nearing you, â....delightful.âÂ
With a tap, your cane transformed into your weapon. You pointed the sword right at his neck.
All eyes were on the two of you and silence grew, save for the quiet static that prevailed.
âYou have a lot of guts trying to intimidate an angel,â you spoke, shifting your gaze to meet his, âespecially since youâve,â your eyes trailed down to his dress coat, âmet one already.â
Alastorâs eye twitched as he shifted back with uncertainty. His ever-present grin straining as he tried to compose himself.
âAnd I donât think that encounter went quite well for you,â You continued, your gaze piercing his soul.
He had never seen you like this before. Your eyes had always been one of his favorite things about you, having always held so much love whenever they looked at him.
But now, those very eyes heâd adored were holding him down in place, watching him like a predator stalks their prey.Â
Before he could lose any more of his composure, your eyes turned to find Luciferâs.
âYour Majesty,â you started, snapping your fingers to get rid of the scroll held in his hands, âAs you can see, I am here by the order of the High Seraphim. She sees potential in this establishment and I do too.â
Luciferâs stature was still guarded, but his demonic form had calmed down a bit, his horns having disappeared completely and his eyes slowly returning to their normal state.Â
He stole a look at his daughter, her pleading eyes softening his resolve.
Letting out a sudden laugh, he walked up to you and pulled you down by your collar, making sure you were at eye level with him.Â
âIf you try to hurt my daughter,â he glared, âIâll drag you down to a place worse than hell myselfâŚpermanently.â
âI wouldnât expect any less from you, Your Majesty,â you said, cooly.
With a huff, he let go of you, rolling his shoulders back. He met Charlieâs gaze with a tired smile. She returned it with warmth, an unspoken understanding resonating between them.
âSo,â Charlie looked at you with a gigantic grin, âWhen do we get started?â
You tilted your head, âIâm sorry?â
âGosh! I have so many ideas to work with! Iâll show you my charts! Thereâs this excellent daily schedule Iâve planned for the guests, sin-free of course-â
âHun,â Vaggie interrupted, âMaybe we shouldâŚhelp them settle first?âÂ
Charlie gasped, âRight!â
She grabbed you by your arm with a giddy disposition, âI have just the right room for you! Letâs go!â
Vaggie and Lucifer followed her as she dragged you upstairs, watching you like a hawk.
The rest of the hotel residents stood there in silence, before Niffty spoke out excitedly, âI like them.â She then hopped away happily with her broom, searching for her next pest victims.Â
âIâmâŚ. gonna go head out for a while, see ya later Angie!â Cherri said as she walked out of the hotel.
Angel Dust and Husk looked at each other, not sure what to make of the situation. A sudden and loud crackle of static alarmed the two of them.
They turned to see Alastor seething, his smile morphing into a sickly grin. They followed his line of sight to the newly arrived angel who bore a soft smile as they patiently listened to Charlieâs excited ramblings, disappearing into the long halls with Lucifer and Vaggie in tow.
A pop sounded behind them as they watched Alastor fizzle away into the shadows.
âWhatâs the deal with âim?â Angel asked Husk, who merely shrugged, too tired and drunk to care.
You looked around the room Charlie had brought you to. It was quite spacious, decked out with a comfortable queen-sized bed, a few tasteful decorations, and a balcony overlooking the Pride ring.Â
âThe washroomâs right there and we serve 3 meals a day- the food and accommodations are all free, of course!â Charlie explained.
âThe bar is openâŚwhenever Husk feels like it, to be honest,â she admitted sheepishly, âbut heâs a guest too soâŚâ
Charlie trailed off, looking around.
âYouâŚ.donât have your luggage?â she pointed out.
âOh! I do,â you said as you snapped your fingers twice. Your suitcases, numerous books, and everything else popped into existence, covering almost every inch of the dark red carpeted floor.
Charlie, Vaggie, and Lucifer looked dumbfounded.
âI..umm..may have packed a bit too muchâŚâ you said with an awkward smile.
Charlie regained her composure, âDonât worry, take your time unpacking and settling in! Weâll just be out of your way!â
She dragged her father and girlfriend along with her, shutting the door behind her.
âWell that was something,â Vaggie started.
âI canât believe an actual not fallen angel is in our hotel!â Charlie exclaimed, jumping on her hooves in the hallway.
âI still donât know how to feel about this, Charlie,â Lucifer sighed, rubbing his temple with one hand, âHeaven, listening to us for once? Hah! As if.â
âDadâŚ,â Charlie placed a hand on her fatherâs shoulder, âIf we donât give Heaven a chance, weâd be bigger hypocrites than Heaven themselves!â
âGuess thereâs no helping it,â Lucifer smiled, holding his hand over his daughterâs, âI wonât be able to be with you all the time though, still have official stuff I gotta handle from the castle.â
He turned to his daughterâs girlfriend.
âMaggie,â
âVaggie-â
âCan I trust you to take care of my girl when Iâm not in the hotel?âÂ
âIâll protect her even when youâre here, Your Majesty,â Vaggie stated, âIâm not gonna let an angel of all beings harm her.â
âAwww, you guysss,â Charlie beamed as she hugged the two, âI appreciate all that but I can take care of myself too!â
âNo doubt about that, dear,â Lucifer smiled, reaching up to ruffle her hair.
âCâmon, letâs give them time to unpack,â Charlie giggled, gesturing to the room of the new arrival, âAnd letâs give ourselves time to unpackâŚthis situation.â
As soon as they were about to take a step, you popped your head out of the room with a smile.
âAll done!â
The three looked back with wide eyes.
âAlready?â Vaggie exclaimed, â It's been like whatâŚa minute?â
âAh wellâŚ. angelic magic can go a long way,â you said, âI took the liberty to make a few tweaks to the room if you donât mind.â
Charlie, growing curious, walked up to the room, âOf course, as long asâŚâ
Her voice trailed off and her jaw dropped.Â
The room had been completely transformed. Soft blue replaced the red hues that once decorated the walls. White drapes surrounded the bed canopy and the windows. A few potted plants were placed where it best suited them, and all your necessities were neatly arranged in their appropriate places.Â
But the most drastic change of them all was the seemingly infinitely extending ceiling enveloped in a fitting angelic aura.
âOh, donât worry about the ceiling, it wonât disturb the rooms above this one,â you pointed out, watching Charlie shake her head in disbelief, âI just needed some space to stretch my wings.â
Vaggie and Lucifer stood behind Charlie shortly after, their mouths gaping like the princess.
âYouâve settled in already,â Lucifer chimed.
You sheepishly shrugged in reply.Â
It wasnât long before you had to bid them goodbye as they left you to your devices.Â
You sighed and plopped yourself down on the bed. You opened the bedside drawer and took out a jewelry box.Â
Opening it, you could see all the little trinkets Molly had made for you, the few golden cranes that Oliver had forged as a gift for you. You smiled, wondering what the two were up to right now in heaven.
Your emotions took a somber turn when your fingers felt the cool looped metal hidden beneath everything else. Holding it up, your eyes found the red ruby seated in the center of the ring.
The ring youâd come to heaven with. The ring, as St. Peter had described, was a parting gift from someone who loved you.
SomeoneâŚ.who loved you.
You wondered if you would find them somedayâthe person who gave you this ring. Surely they mustâve made it to heaven? Or perhaps condemned to hell?
Are they still here? Have they been thinking of you?
DoâŚdo they still love you?
All those questions plagued your mind ever since you entered the gates of heaven. And they have never left you in peace.
Putting it back safely within the confines of the box, you slid the drawer close, turning your attention to your other prized possession.Â
A radio.Â
Youâd made it so that it could play music with or without a station nearby. Although it took several attempts for you to get it right, on top of making sure you did not damage the gizmo, you knew it was worth all the hassle.
Something had drawn you to it when you first saw it sitting on the shop shelf collecting dust. Call it love at first sight, if you will.
You turned the dial, smiling when music played through. It was a song about love- a reminiscent memory of it.
Sometimes I wonder, how I spend
The lonely nights
Dreaming of a song
The melodyÂ
Haunts my reverie
You lay down on the bed, letting your wings rest on either side of you. You feel a lone feather float down towards your face. You reach out to catch hold of it, right before it landed on you.Â
And I am once again with you
When our love was newÂ
And each kiss an inspiration
You twirl the feather in between your fingers as your mind wanders.
.
.
.
You must find them -the person who loved you.
But that was long ago
And now my consolation is in the stardust of a song.
You must.

Alastor sighed as he walked through the halls of Carmilla Carmineâs mansion. Yet another meeting with the overlords that he could not care less about. However, he needed to keep up appearances, especially since he had disappeared for so long. Despite his return, there were still some who doubted his power.
He winced a bit, as he ran his clawed hand over his clothed chest, right over where the wound was. That bastard Adam, as much as he hated to admit it, had done quite a number on him. Heâd broken his staff and rendered it useless and struck him across his chest, the wound having never been healed since then.
He guessed it was because of that angelic weapon that prevented him from recovering quickly. After all, he was a demon. A demon very susceptible to angelic powers. Well, at least the bleeding stopped after a few days. He wouldâve been at a disadvantage if others, let alone the overlords, knew of his injury.
âHoly shit, this place is huge. How do you navigate through this every time?â
And of course, to make matters worse, he had to escortâŚthe king of hell.
âYou know, I never bothered attending these meetings cuz I wasâŚuhhâŚbusy,â Lucifer stated.
âBusy with your duck collection, you mean?â Alastor glanced at him from the corner of his eye, his smile ever prevalent.
Lucifer glared up at him, âYou know I can banish you from hell, right? Or kill you, on the very spot youâre standing?â
Alastor let out a loud laugh, static echoing through the halls, âYou wouldnât do that. Our dear Charlie would not appreciate that sentiment.â
Lucifer grunted, âMotherfuck- â
His words were cut off as the huge doors leading to where the meeting was being held, opened. Eyes were immediately on the duo, prompting Lucifer to break out his âget me out of this awkward situationâ smile.
âEyyyyy,â the demon king snapped out his finger guns, âHowâs the gang doing?â
Alastor cringed, his face very visibly showing his distaste, despite his wide grin.
âYour majesty,â Carmilla bowed her head, âItâs a pleasure to make your acquaintance after all these years. Please, join us. Both of you.â
Alastor sat down at his usual spot beside Rosie as Lucifer was seated at the head of the long table. Said demoness, leaned towards him and whispered , âVox has been awfully cocky today. Talked about how heâd take you downâŚpermanently.â
Alastor chuckled, his eyes flitting over to Vox and his crew of misfits. It seems heâd somehow completely overlooked his presence. He was insignificant anyway.
âRosie, dearest,â he widened his grin, âyou know he is no threat to me.â
âI know,â she whispered, âbut he seemed...oddly confident. Do be careful, dear.â
Alastor waved a hand at her, dismissively. Yet his brow furrowed very slightly, unnoticeably, when his red gaze met Voxâs and his maniacal grin. His giddy attitude irked Alastor, but he hid it well under his permanent grin.
His eyes drifted over to Carmilla as she went on about some unimportant stuff that Alastor did not care to listen to. Soon after, the meeting was adjourned. Alastor bid farewell to Rosie, promising to meet up for a cup and tea sometime later.
He looked over to where Lucifer was to find that poor excuse of a king chatting with Carmilla and Zestial, albeit quite uncomfortably. Alastor decided to leave him be and head back to the hotel to enjoy a quiet moment in his studio.
As soon as he stepped out the meeting room however, his plans were rudely interrupted by a familiar television static reaching his ears.
âAlastor! What a pleasure to see you here!â Vox exclaimed, his smile condescending.
âAh, I was wondering where the cockroach I saw went. Here you are!â Alastor grinned.
Voxâs smile strained slightly, his eye twitching, âCareful now, Alastor. I would choose my words wisely if I were you.â
âAlright then, Iâll do as you say,â Alastorâs smile widened as he stepped closer to Vox, his eyes gleaming a bright red, âGet out of my way, pest.â
Vox did not move an inch. Instead, his digitized face relaxed.
âYou talk big for someone who got their ass dished out by the first man.â
Tentacles popped out from behind Alastor and tightened around Voxâs neck, suffocating him. Alastorâs grin became maniacal.
âSo, you were spying on us, hm?â he tightened his hold on Vox as he struggled to breathe, âGood golly, now I must make sure that does not happen again. Itâs for safety purposes, I hope you do understand.â
Alastor wanted to pop out his head, rip out every piece of him till there was none left. He had let his antics go out for far too long. His thoughts were interrupted by a sharp pain that spread through his body. His hold on Vox loosened as the tentacles withdrew. The TV demon dropped to the ground, heaving and coughing. Then his smile grew even wider as he looked up to see Alastor struggling, his discomfort showing from the way he clutched his chest.
âAdmit it, Radio bitch,â Vox laughed out, âYouâre no longer at the top of the food chain.â
He slowly stood up, fixing his bow tie and turning around to find his friends, his eyes glancing at Alastor for the last time.
âThe next time you see me, I wonât be so nice.â
With that, Vox left. His footsteps echoed through the halls, leaving Alastor beyond enraged. How dare he threaten him? He had a lot of nerve trying to seem tough with his empty words.
âThe next time you see me, pest,â Alastor thought, âI wonât be so nice either.â
Taking a deep breath, he regained his composure. Lucifer popped out beside him, exhausted by the conversation he just had.
âAlright, I am never attending this shitshow ever again,â Lucifer exclaimed.
Alastor said nothing. The king of hell opened a portal for them to reach the hotel, and they both stepped through.
You stood cooly as the moth like fallen angel pointed her blade to your neck.
âWhat do you want from us?â she stated.
âVaggie!â Charlie exclaimed, âYou do not treat guests like that! Theyâre here to help!â
Charlie guided Vaggieâs hand to move her blade away from you. Vaggie seethed still. You cleared your throat, and snapped your fingers, bringing out a signed proclamation from Sera and guiding it towards them both.
The scroll landed in Vaggieâs hands, as she and Charlie read through its contents, their eyes widening with every second.
âAs you can see,â you started, âI am not a threat. Heaven has sent me here to help your hotel.â
Vaggie lifted an eyebrow, âWhy? Why so suddenly?â
âLetâs say we sawâŚpotential,â you hummed, snapping your fingers once more to make the scroll vanish into thin air.
âI do not buy that.â
âOh come on, Vaggie!â Charlie pleaded, âThis is a wonderful opportunity for our hotel! We now have the acknowledgement we need!â
Vaggie looked towards you and then back to Charlie, âHun, you donât know what they might be up to. Trust me, Heaven is not something holier than thou even if it portrays itself to be. You saw it yourself!â
âI know, but this hotel is all about second chances!â she smiled brightly, âWe would be just as hypocritical as Heaven if we donât give them a chance to work with us.â
Vaggie sighed and glared at you, âHurt Charlie or anyone in this hotel and I will cut you up into pieces.â
âI do not intend to hurt anyone,â you said, âI promise.â
You walked towards the lobby of the hotel, pushing past Vaggie. You looked at her from the corner of your eye, âAnd an angel, never lies.â
Vaggie muttered under her breath, âBullshit.â
Charlie, sensing the obvious tension, tried to break it to the best of her ability.
âSooooo,â she smiled at you excitedly, âWelcome to the Hazbin Hotel! A place where demons can seek redemption and reach the pearly gates of heaven!â
You looked around, impressed at how well built everything was. The lobby was quite elegantly decorated, meant to provide the best service to its individuals. You could only imagine how the rooms would be.
Your eyes wandered over to a particular part of the lobby. It was a painting, depicting the familiar snake youâd seen enter the gates of heaven. He was dressed in military garb, his face held nonchalant pride and he was surrounded by little egg creatures. He looked quite different here as compared to how he looked in heaven. No gold accents on his scales, no glowing halo atop his head. Although he looked harmless in this painting, he still lookedâŚwellâŚdemonic. Understandably, of course.
âThatâs our Sir Pentious,â Charlie said softly, appearing behind you, âHeâŚhe sacrificed his life for this hotel. I can only hope heâs in a better place.â
Her eyes held a certain sheen to them, as if she was seconds away from tearing up. You wished you could tell her that her hotel worked, that her dear friend had made it to the gates of heaven. You wished you could tell Vaggie that she was right, that angels could not be trusted, that you yourself could not be trusted.
But you said none of that.
âThat was quite noble of him,â you put a hand on her shoulder, smiling softly, âI am sure he is in a better place.â
Charlie smiled wide, wiping her eyes a little. You could still feel Vaggieâs glare at the back of your head. It would be tough currying her favor.
âYouâve put a lot of effort in this place, that I admire,â you carried on walking around the place, âbut you donât seem to have a lot of residents, yes?â
Charlie chuckled uncomfortably, âAh wellâŚthis is hell afterall. A lot of them are not veryâŚdown with the idea of redemption.â
She jumped over to where the bar was. You saw a cat demon slumped over the counter, lifting his head up every few seconds to have a drink from the beer bottle he was holding.
âThis is the bar and this here is the bartender, Husk!â Charlie introduced.
âYou have a barâŚat a place of redemption?â you asked.
âThatâs what I said,â you heard Vaggie say.
âA little drink doesnât hurt! Every one needs a little relaxation sometimes, wonât you agree?â the demon princess look towards you, her eyes pleading for your approval.
You hummed and nodded, âI suppose that is acceptable.â You heard a grunt from the drunk demon and decided to leave him alone.
Suddenly you heard a lot of commotion from upstairs. A few more demons appeared, eager eyes peering down at you.
âHoly shit, you were right, Cherri!â an accented voice exclaimed, âThereâs an actual fuckinâ angel here!!â
You could hear them hurriedly run downstairs to the lobby. Your eyes soon caught a little cyclops, dressed like a maid, another much taller cyclops who you recognized had first slammed the door in your face when you arrived at the hotel, and a much much taller arachnid, the very demon youâd seen during the trial. You tilted your head as you contemplated the similarities between him and Molly.
âOk sooooo, this is the gang!â Charlie clapped her hands, excitedly, âAnd look, we already have someone new!â
She dragged the taller cyclops by the arm and hugged her close, cheek to cheek.
âUhhâŚIâm just here for Angie-â her voice was interrupted by Charlie introducing her and everyone else.
âThis new resident slash employee is Cherri Bomb! This little one here is Nifty and his name is Angel Dust!â
You watched as the tall arachnid slithered up close to you, taking your hand and kissing the back of it, winking at you, âPleasure to meet you, sugar.â
Your brow furrowed as you withdrew your hand, your smile awkward, âCharmed.â
You rubbed the hand where he had kissed you absentmindedly, trying to get rid of that uncomfortable sensation.
âAnd as you already know, thatâs Vaggie,â she pointed at the moth demon, âmy girlfriend slash co founder!â
You didnât need to see her to know she was already glaring at youâŚagain. You were getting used to it.
âMy dad and Alastor are supposed to be here too but theyâre at a meeting so, itâll be a while till you meet them!â
Your eyes looked at her questionably, âLucifer Morningstar stays with you? At this hotel?â
âUhh yeah! Heâs the one who helped rebuild this place afterâŚyou know.â Charlie explained, âHe does have to go back to the palace every now and then to take care of business but heâs been helping out at my hotel!â
âAnd,â you paused for a while, âWhat about thisâŚummâŚAlastor fellow?â
âHeâs my business partner! The manager, if you will,â Charlie said, âHe is ummâŚquite the character. Youâll know when you see him.â
You nodded your head in response.
âSooâŚwhatcha doinâ here?â Angel Dust asked, âHere to pick another fight?â
Before you could respond, Charlie interrupted, âTheyâre here to help with the hotel!â
All of them looked puzzled.
âHelp? What changed their minds?â Angel asked. Charlie shrugged but reassured him that all was good.
This was quite the crowd youâd met. You couldnât help but feel a certain warmth here, a warmth youâd only see in a family. As Charlie and Vaggie responded to their queries about the new arrival, i.e; you, you looked around. Itâd take some time but you could get used to this. A small smile graced your features.
Alastor and Lucifer stepped through the portal, their ears already picking up the commotion.
âHuh, I wonder whatâs going on,â Lucifer stated, walking into the lobby trying to find his daughter.
Alastor was still irked by his encounter with Vox. He could feel the wound ripping him from the inside out, his pain magnifying with every step he took. This was affecting his powers too. He could still conjure up things but the main source of his power, his staff, was broken and until and unless he could fix it, he couldnât use his powers to the magnitude he used to.
He did not know what Vox has had planned. But he would rather kill himself than let that picture show of a freak defeat him.
Holding himself to his usual stature, he walked into the lobby to see Lucifer standing defensively in front of Charlie.
âI donât know why youâre here,â he stated, his horns growing longer, âBut I will not let you touch a hair on my daughter.â
Alastor could see the bright white wings and floating halo cloud his vision. An angel? Hm. That made things a bit more interesting.
âDad, theyâre just here to help!â Charlie whined from behind him. She caught sight of Alastor.
âAlastor! Please tell dad to calm down. Back me up on this!â
Alastor sighed, the ever present grin widening.
âOfcourse, dear Charlie. Oh what would you do without me-â
He paused, his smile straining and his eyes widening.
That angel.
The angel turned their head to look at him. Even after all this time, their eyes had not changed one bit.
That was his beloved.
