"you know, more often than not, i am speaking to Loneliness like they are a dear friend who has held my hand through all these years. i confide in them opening up my insides like they will forever keep my secrets locked away in the casket of time and null. there is nothing to hide, or nothing to lose if i utter those unspeakable words and i'll have the assurance that it won't come back to haunt me once again. there is no fear of judgement, no need to sugar coat or twist my words to suit the preferences of other people. It's just me and Loneliness without anything else to touch us in that very moment. A moment that is so impeccably real, and so unabashedly vulnerable that i get drawn towards it a little more everyday. i have let go of so many friends and so many friends have let go of me that i have lost count. but even then the only one who stayed, through every heaving moment, through every desperate night and every magnificent morning is that one sense of Solitude who doesn't waver. the only one i can truly count on lest i needed to rip out my soul and render it naked for the universe to see. there is nothing painstaking about finding solace in being alone. its the only thing that is mine and mine only that no one else can ever see, hear or touch. and there is so much comfort in knowing that - in knowing that no matter where i am, or who im with or what im doing, my loneliness will be a part of me, someone i can turn to at the end of the day, someone i can truly put my faith in, someone who has known all about me since the day i was born, someone i can truly call my friend till the day i die.
