i do think it’s kinda hilarious how the self proclaimed leftists on this website have infinitely more tolerance and sympathy for religious people than they do for vegans

yes many vegans are annoying but at least they have a moral stance that comes from what they have observed to happen in The Real World and that is based on their personal ethical and political values irt harm and violence

on the other hand absolutely baffling amounts of leftists on here act like religion is something that just happens to you and has nothing to do with your politics or how you move socially within the wider contexts. you can test out this dichotomy by asking someone whether they would respect someone’s efforts to keep their kitchen kosher or not have pork or indeed any animal products in their home for religious reasons despite it inconveniencing you versus if they would respect this situation if the person asking to have no animal products in their home was ideologically vegan
