At the end of the first season, we see an adult Aemond for the first time, and Cole says that the prince is ready for tournaments, which means that he had not participated in them before. Then Aemond says: "I don't give a shit about tourneys," + the war begins. Sooo...eh?

Why on earth did they add another attempted rape scene with this episode? It doesn’t even make any sense since Alys is a witch who we already established can just vanish when she feels like it. Why did we need to have this just so Aemond can come save her? It’s episode five and there have now been about FOUR attempted or successful SA scenes, all of which have been about a male character and never the victim. The village girl’s assault was about Criston and Gwayne’s feelings, Alicent’s assault was so no one would feel bad that the council member was beheaded later, Kat’s SA was about showing how Ormund handles dissent, and now Alys is almost assaulted so Aemond can do a good deed. It’s beyond lazy

guys i love doomed yuri as much as the next guy. but having alicent hightower plan the slaughter of her two sons while pining for her childhood bestie makes her look like a deranged psychopath. and the writers just don't care that her character makes ZERO sense . i cannot get behind "rhaenicent" because of the absolute character assassination that is done to both rhaenyra and alicent. every time i see a rhaenicent post about how it's "always been about doomed yuri". ok. fine. but can you actually explain to me how this whole plotline actually makes sense besides "it's always been about doomed yuri". please, i am not joking. explain to me how rhaenicent makes sense in the story.

never not angry about how condal & hess went about b&c. blood was a former goldcloak who hated the Hightowers because he was fired for brutalising a prostitute under them but in the show he is a current goldcloak who just hates the Hightowers because reasons? because keeping blood a former woman abuser wouldn’t fit into the shallow narrative of “greens=misogyny blacks=feminism” the show is pushing.

when you're writing THE most feminist show of all times called house of the dragon and because you're such a feminist your two main characters are women BUT in the original book they're supposed to be enemies and that's like NOT feminist and progressive at all, so of course you'll right the wrongs and make the "BAD" woman see the error of her way and join team women. BUT in order to do that you have to make the BAD woman NOT be a political player for HER OWN TEAM so you really have nothing to do with her character. instead of just giving her LESS screentime as a LESS feminist showrunner might do, you decide to add unnecessary SA scenes EVERY fucking episode.
