King Viserys is dead. His firstborn son Aegon has taken his crown over his half sister and is demanding the release of his wife and now Queen. And Jacaera is torn between loyalty to her Mother, and her love for her husband and future child. Lucera is on the precipice of destruction, still trying to escape Aemond's grasp and his obsessive desire for vengeance. And Joyce is trapped in the middle, a child forced to become a woman in the fog of war.

The scenes between Aerea and Maelor are hands down my favourite. It is really interesting to see how Aerea, my poor girl😔, deals with motherhood.
I'm really curious to see how Aerea reading the letters will affect her relationship with Mae. Will she try to be a better mother out of spite? Or will she unconsciously reject him more? I can't wait to see how you develop their relationship!
Ooof, it's going to be complicated. Post KL, when she returns to Summerhall, she'll be splitting a good chunk of the parenting with Papa Maekar which will further complicate her relationship with Maelor. I can't say much cause the second part of the fic focuses on her as a mom and adult, and I want to keep things under wraps.
