Thank you for your question! This is a very meaningful question for me, and I want to answer it seriously.

my mother sent me to a kid's art class when i was 5. the teacher ranked everyone's work in each class, and i was always the second. my mother got angry, thinking i didn't really like drawing, so she stopped my classes immediately.

Then i went to primary school normally, then boarding school, and studied as hard as I could. idk what it's like in other countries, but in my country, wanting to study art in university means you have to make a choice in middle school or even earlier, sacrificing some time from academic subjects to attend art training. my family obviously didn't agree, especially since i consistently ranked at the top of my school. so, I ended up getting into a university that satisfied everyone except myself, studying a major I didn't like.

University life is much more flexible than middle school, and my parents bought me a pad (obviously for note-taking), but i realized i could use it to draw, so i picked up my childhood hobby again. i've been drawing on my pad for three years now.

so you see, strictly speaking, i've almost never formally studied painting. I think many things in my life have taught me that if you have an idea, you should act on it immediately, even if you don't necessarily succeed. if you don't try, you'll never know the outcome and will be stuck in the regret of "what if I had succeeded?" my university offered me a place in graduate school without taking the entrance exam, but i gave it up. i didn't want to be tortured by my major for another two years lmao(this infuriated my parents, but i didn't care). Admittedly, I don't really want to do academia. Right now, i just want to work for a few years and save enough money (i hate my job too). maybe one day I can use that money to apply to an art school abroad. Whether I regret it or not is a matter for the future!

I watched lotr(book and movie) abt 8 and i read silmarillion and other tolkien's book when i was in middle school...(btw finrod was my childhood crush i even wrote his name on my notebook lmao and he's still my fav elf

I especially love the clothes design! I’m not that well versed in the names as I only recognize them visually but I love it when it’s different from the shows and actually shows the culture/time frame it was in. Also really adore the way you draw the Targaryens, Valarr, Baelor and Maekar are my favorite and your arts of them is so gooooood.
