- “people are muted” no nobody is muted. it’s just a glitch that affected some posts, mostly text posts. don’t send staff any messages, just edit and save those posts and they’ll fix themselves

- “tumblr is banning custom themes” no it’s not

- “tumblr is banning kin stuff” no, it bans impersonation. as in you cant pretend to be someone such as a celebrity. Same with mastadon.

- “they banned nsfw to get back into the app store” they banned nsfw cuz verizon cant sell ads next to porn, the app store debacle just made them speed up the process. this all stems back to capitalism sucks.

Jeff Bezos could afford to personally end world hunger for a year and still be among the top 10 US billionaires. He could feed the entire planet for 3 years and still be in the top 20.
