Michael stood silent for another moment. He was scared to tell her and yet, it felt like she could handle it. So he swallowed the lump in his throat and slowly replied. “I-I erased their souls. I killed them even after they were already dead. It’s like they never existed..” he stuttered, barely keeping eye contact with her because he was so afraid. “I-I didn’t mean to do that. I don’t know what has gotten into me.. I’m sorry…”

Michael had to admit that he liked the things she had in mind. Ever since she brought him back, he knew he had found a treasure in her. He needed to keep her. “We will have to figure out the way to get there. I know it will be hard but I also know that we can do it. Everything seems possible with you at my side.” he smiled. For some reason, all the hate he had felt inside him wasn’t as bad anymore as it used to be. Knowing that he had now someone at his side, a person who wouldn’t leave his side, that helped. And he never thought he would get to that point. 

Michael wondered why it took them so long to find each other. All the shit he went through, maybe none of it would’ve happened if he ahd her at his side. And for a brief moment, he wondered and imagined how his life would’ve been if he had her there from the beginning. 

“I-I think you’re right.” he said slowly. And then, he needed to let out a small laugh. “It is like that. We were meant to be.” now his voice sounded relieved. That he actually found some balance in his life all of the sudden. He never thought he would get there but here he was. 

His gaze shifted over to her and he listened carefully to what she said. What she said made sense, like she said it made perfect sense. Suddenly, he stopped crying, and he saw hope in her. Hope in what she said. “Why did you never tell me?” Michael asked slowly. Could she see how relieved he suddenly felt? How much this actually meant to him. A smile washed over his sad features, lightening up the whole shine of the young man. His hand moved out, grabbing hers and giving it a small squeeze while his eyes gazed in hers. “You think you were meant to be with me? Like I was meant for you?” maybe he was switching up feelings, not really knowing the difference between love and liking. 

His hands run through her long hair, pulling her closer and smirking down at her. “That’s what I like to hear.” she really had a good plan ahead. Even if it was easier said then done. But Michael sure together, they could make. Get rid of all these damn witches and make sure Cordelia was the last one to die. “How did I get so lucky to have such a smart girl like oyu at my side?” he asked with a grin, leaning his forehead against hers. He was sure that what he felt for her was stronger than anything else. 

He was afraid to talk furher. What if she really would leave him now? He wasn’t ready to let her go, not when he had just found her. But he also knew that no matter what he would try or say, she would want to know. And he rather tells her himself that finding out from someone else. “The new couple.. you know the ones who wanted to move in here..” he stopped for a moment. “I-I did kill them. A-and worse.” he spoke. he stood silent now, afraid of already feeling the hate of her coming towards him.

For a moment it seemed lik ehe was dreaming, that none of this was real. But when she heard her words, felt his heart race, he knew he must be awake. Michael licked over his lips, his hands moving down to grab hers and give them both a squeeze. “Us against them all.” He repeated her words. And she could be sure that it meant the world to them. For the first time, Michael didn’t feel alone nor emtpy. He felt like he had finally a place in this world. And hers was right at his side. 

Michael was hesitant to discuss it. He didn’t want to scare Zoe away. But if she really was part of his destiny and a part of his father’s plan, then she would need to know the truth and she wouldn’t be scared off easily. “I’m sort of… supposed to bring the apocalypse,” he told her awkwardly. “I know it sounds crazy.”

Michael was the one to think this through this time. Maybe he was right. Maybe her father brought her to life, maybe she was here for him. To be at his side. To be with him. “H-have you ever thought that my father sent you?” he asked her slowly. It was just an idea, a guess but it would make sense. “Like, what if you were supposed to meet me at the Coven, to find me in the forrest and to be with me here right now.” he spoke. Michael rubbed his face. This was more nerve wrecking for him than she probably thought. “It’s probably a stupid idea, I know…” he sighed, leaning back. 

Michael felt his heart race. Right now, he was sure that this must’ve been love. What else was this feeling? His hand moved up, cupping her face and bringing her closer to himself. “I do hope you mean every single word you say. You belong to me now. And no matter who is trying to take me away from you, will be destroyed.” he spoke. To make it official, he connected their lips together to sign the contract of love and loyalty.

When Michael returned to the room, he was wearing pants but no shirt. He sat down on the big bed and smiled at Zoe. “Everything okay?” he asked her.
