The Bright Moon Royal Guard in She-Ra do not appear to take part in battle (besides the General who fights to retake Dryl), don’t appear to be of another species like other Etherians, and are rarely seen exterior to the Bright Moon Castle. Looks like they just chill and protect the Queen.

The Guard's General seems to have personal allegiance directly to the royal family.

Though we rarely see them without their armored hoods, when we do it appears as if they have pointy elf-like ears.

And apparently enough down time to enjoy personal hobbies.
