#journey to the west#jttw ch 24#clear breeze#bright moon#ONLY ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY YEARS OLD#wukong is still only 'just' 900something during the journey at minimum (possibly 800something depending on how much you count heaven time)#he was at least 342 when he erased his name from the underworld + 110ish (working in heaven) + 500 years under the mountain#where this gets more confusing is if you count the time he spent in heaven when he didn't 'experience' earth-year aging#b/c the 342 + 500 were years he spent on earth#anyway by basically all estimates he's well under 1200 years old by the time it's the journey lol
