imo jennifer’s body was a bad movie. if it came out this year it’d be a netflix original and itd be called teenslop and probably dubbed over from spanish or smth. it didn’t resonate with me in any way and was a slog to get through like i think the only line that grabbed my attention was the “hell is a teenage girl” one during the beginning monologue and that’s just because everyone says that all the time on here. i thought more people would be quoting the virgin suicides “you’ve clearly never been a thirteen year old girl” (paraphrasing obvs) than jennifer’s body. it’d be really cool if the teen girl movie was like daisies or smth because it’s actually entertaining and would hit the same points people say jennifer’s body did. ig im just peeved because they didn’t use the song in the film and violet seemed wasted on that end scene
