And my mind immediately went to a plot line where Harry does bump into Norris again, and they’re catching up and giving each other shit and whatever, and it’s all fun and cute.

So on the truck back to the House, the others are asking questions and teasing Harry, but in a nice way, and saying he should ask her out etc etc. The same kind of well meaning but heteronormative assumptions underpinning their approach as when they all pressured Eddie into asking Ana out.

And Harry’s a bit uncomfortable about it all too, and he’s like no, we’re just friends, I don’t like her that way, etc. And we move on.

But at some point later, Eddie (who did NOT participate in the teasing earlier) catches him and is like, you ok? And Harry and Eddie have a little chat about relationships and attraction and not feeling it like other people seem to and is that weird? No my lovelies, it’s just under-recognised and misunderstood.

And THAT is how we get ace Harry, my beloved headcanon, AND a parallel to gay/demi Eddie that can serve Eddie’s (hopefully) wider season wide storyline.

Chris turn to see both Buck and Eddie on the ground, groaning in pain.

"I don't think I can move," Buck gasps in pain.

"I-I need a moment," Eddie also gasps out. He's definitely feeling his age right now. Buck as well.

"Your ass broke my bench, man," Buck says and suddenly he can't help but giggle.

"Are you calling me fat?"

"No, your ass on the other hand," Buck hums--then suddenly stops. "Uh-"

Eddie turns to Buck. "My ass is not that huge."

Buck whips his head to Eddie. "And my legs are not that long."

Eddie squints at Buck. Buck stares back.

"Is it bad?"
