Referencing the photo of the Twins' first day of kindergarten, can you imagine Buck having taken in his twin boys, and one of them wrote he wanted to be a police officer, and the other a baker.
Something in Buck cracked a little and healed at the same time. His lips threatened to wobble as he wrote down on the chalkboard and had his boys hold it up.
Athena would love to see one of his boys wanting to be a police officer, and the other a baker. Something Athena loved doing passionately, and Bobby, who had admitted that if he were to retire, he'd open up a bakery.
"A bakery, Bobby?" Buck teases. "Who are you gonna hire?"
Bobby points the knife at Buck. "Ohh, I'm dragging you with me, kid."
Buck smiles back at the memory.
He posts it privately on his Instagram for his friends and family to see and tags Athena.
He liked the comment Athena left. Her heart must be melting as well.
He was astounded at the packages sitting innocently on his porch one day. Theo had a full-on, near-realistic police officer outfit with belt attachments and a cute, colorful Nerf gun. Lionel, Theo's twin, had gotten a little baking outfit that goes well with the small workable kitchen set that Pepa got for the kids.
It melts his heart when he sees Eddie sitting on the ground comically at the kids' table, waiting for Lionel to serve him food from his kitchen. Tiny fork and knife in hand as he's fed wonky-shaped fruits and vegetables.
