i'd say the overlap between "sex workers" and "people who work in morgues" is probably "seeing naked strangers a lot"

Okay I’ve gone through many of the reblogs and “prefer when clients don’t talk to them” is peak

Iron Lung is a beautiful example of cosmic horror, sure, but the immense hope that plays into that horror is just fucking great. It's not the kind of hopeful theme we're used to. It's not the Light At The End Of The Tunnel kind of hope. It's the beaten, desperate dog clawing and biting at it's oppressor. It's a dying animal believing there's a life outside the bear trap. It's a screaming, terrified human being who just wants to live. Fighting with bloodied teeth. Straining their lungs to keep on breathing. Grabbing onto a barbed wire that might keep them from drowining. Iron Lung is about the insane willpower to fight, to keep on living just because there's a sliver of hope it might be worth it. And I think that's a very tragic and beautiful message.

i recently found out what the * * * that sometimes separates parts of a text is called and youre never gonna fucking believe it

just watched a star trek episode about a planet that relied so heavily on it's computer system that they all forgot the basics of their own knowledge. and that allowed them to miss the fact that they were being posioned with radiation and nearly ending their civilization. because they couldn't use their own knowledge to figure things out. i bring this up for no reason in particular

The thing about the moon is maybe you don’t need to write a poem about the moon. The moon’s been done, we’ve discussed it. It’s a coin a mirror an eye a lantern in the darkness. It’s a rock in space. It’s the dang moon we’ve all seen it! Is there something you can notice that’s is more surprising than the moon???
