The Rockies are new, young and virile and fresh from the Laramide orogeny, tall and lanky teenagers on the geological scale. the Appalachian mountains are old, formed hundreds of millions of years ago before dinosaurs walked the Earth. They are ancients, elders, witnesses to half a billion years of life coming and going. To be tall is not a virtue. To be small is not a sin. The Appalachians are eroding under the weight of time, slowly shrinking and returning to the Earth from which they sprang. Appreciate them while they are still here.

I love how Geralt has this ghostly pale hair and yellow eyes and never talks and dresses like he fell into a medieval hot topic and you figure that’s just bc he’s a witcher, but then you met the rest of the witchers who are literally just dudes and you’re like oh. oh, so Geralt’s just Like That

Hi my name is Geralt ‘White Wolf’ of Rivia and I have long ghostly white hair (that’s how I got my name) with grease and mud in it that reaches my upper back and yellow eyes like limpid piss and a lot of people tell me I look like Vesemir (AN: if u don’t know who he is get da hell out of here!). I’m not related to Dandelion but I wish I was because he’s a major fucking hottie. I’m not human but my teeth are straight and white. I have pale white skin. I’m also a witcher, and I belong to a witcher school called School of the Wolf in Kaer Morhen (I’m over 50). I’m a goth (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly black. I love medieval Hot Topic and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing black half plate armour with a matching belt around it and black leather pants, a black cape and tall black boots. I was wearing my witcher medallion and carrying my swords. I was walking through Blaviken. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of townsfolk stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them.

My roommate just called from the kitchen to ask what was wrong because I laughed so hard I gave myself a coughing fit.
