Since Jim Henson Studio confirmed that Skesis are sexless I have a headcannon that both for skesis and urru share intimacy through sensual contact. They're missing half their body and their spirit is splintered so they alleviate that deprivation by physical closeness to another body. The only ones that aren't crippled by bodily deprivation are UrGoh and SkekGra because their physical contact is with their other half rather than another skesis or urru.

Speaking of The Dark Crystal, I am reminded how funny the Skesis are as a concept... there's only like ten of them in existence and their bodies are so indescribably fucked up in every way. They are good villains because if they don't have much nuance to their shittiness, it's by design... you get the impression that if a bunch of hyper-intelligent alien beings decided to partition off the mean, callous, petty bitch parts of their souls and make them all live in the same house together for a thousand years, the Skesis are exactly what would happen. They call each other by their fancy titles rather than their names. They all fucking hate each other and are constantly fighting and going behind each others' backs but also, as previously mentioned, there's like only ten of them and they all live in the same house. Absolutely horrible and also impeccable, 100/10
