One thing I’ve been noticing how intentional everything is. There’s little to no unnecessary filler. Every scene serves to push the story forward or expand on characters. Something I’ve noticed lately is how badly paced a lot of current shows are. It takes forever to get from point A to point B, the plot moves at wicked speed with no time for character development, or half the show drags while the second half is on catch up.

AoR doesn’t have this problem as far as I’ve noticed. I think a great example of this is Deet going to Stone in the Wood. Not only does it offer her a chance to rest (which is realistic given she’s on a journey), but it shows the audience the lack of trust between Gelfling, and sets up the relationship between Deet and Rian.

This scene then perfectly ties into Rian’s conflict and the introduction to the Stonewood Gelfling overall.

I love good writing and I think AoR really hits that sweet spot. It’s a beautiful grand show and I’m still so upset we never got a S2. I’m still hoping for a novel to graphic comic that will bridge the gap between the show and movie.

THERE IS THIS EPIC SHOW CALLED THE DARK CRYSTAL AGE OF RESISTANCE AND IT IS SOOOOO GOOD! IT WAS CANCELD BECAUSE NOT ENOUGH PEOPLE WATCHED UT, BUT IF YOU ARE INTO FANTASY OR PUPPETRY, I HIGHLY REXOMEND YOU WATCH THIS. YOU CAN WATCH IT STRAIT OF THE BAT, OR YOU CAN WATCH THE MOVOE FIRST, IT DOESN'T REALY MATTER. JUST GIVE IT A GO THOUGH, YOU WONT REGRET IT. IF YOU HAVE WATCHED THEN WE SHOULD BE FREINDS!!!
