BLOND:ISH are Canadian DJ and producers Vivie-Ann Bakos and Anstascia D'Elene. They've released material on labels like Get Physical and Kompakt, where they published their debut LP, "Welcome to the Present". Their music is a unique blend of sensual tech-house and laid-back electronica, brimming with oriental airs, nocturnal, summery and psychedelic as a mantra.

El sello (hoy también tienda de discos) fundado en 2007 por Sean Bohrman y Lee Rickard ya se ha ganado un altar entre los fans del fuzz con centenares de lanzamientos a lo largo de una década de vida. 

Ahora sigue contagiando su amor al pogo por todo el mundo con Burger Invasion, un festival de un día con algunas de las bandas más representativas del sello para celebrar su espíritu irreverente y agitador. ► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by Rural Zombies Rural Zombies is a Basque band from Zestoa, in the Basque Country. They debuted in 2015 with “Bat” and, barely two weeks ago, they released their second LP, “From Home to Hospital St.,” an album of precious pop, brimming with catchy melodies, crystalline guitars and power basses, with an ethereal and melancholic touch that gives off a very contagious energy. 

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by Trajano! The Spanish band from Madrid Trajano! debuted in 2012 and, after several EPs and one LP in which they developed their trademark dark and 80's pop rock of sharp guitars, in their last works synthesizers have gained prominence and their sound has shifted towards more danceable sonorities. A good proof of this is “Álgebra Opuesta,” the first single of their LP “Lázaro,” which they are about to release on the label Mushroom Pillow. 

Trajano! have prepared an eclectic and upbeat playlist that places the emphasis on pop music in all its variants—psychedelia, synth, new wave, ethereal pop—but in which we also find soul, dance funk, Afrobeat and tropical music.

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by AKKAN Akkan is the electronic duo formed by BeGun and Ocellot, both from Barcelona. On February 18th, they are set to debut on the label of our friends La Belle Records with the EP "Bananat," a work in which underground psychedelic club-oriented vibes fuse together with spontaneous single-take recordings to build an idiosyncratic spell of trippy melodies and ethnic rhythms. 

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by Hinds Hinds, a quartet from Madrid, released their first LP, “Leave Me Alone,” in 2015: a powerful and sunny collection of songs halfway between garage pop and lo-fi indie with which they obtained a great international repercussion, having them play in festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury and SXSW. Currently about to publish their second album, they are immersed in a tour that will take them around half the world again. 

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by La Chica La Chica (aka la Chica Belleville) is Franco-Venezuelan artist Sophie Fustec. At the beginning of 2017 she released “Oasis,” her first EP, in which she masterfully combines pop, electronica and Latin influences but that, nonetheless, is much more than the sum of her influences: A subtle work brimming with hypnotic, sweet and melancholic melodies crowned by her laid-back and sensual voice. La Chica Belleville will be performing tomorrow at Matadero Madrid, Spain. 

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by Anja Schneider After an extensive career that has taken her to the best clubs and festivals around the world, today Berlin DJ and producer Anja Schneider is releasing her first studio album in nine years on her new imprint Sous. “SoMe” is certainly her finest and boldest work to date, a recapitulation on the styles that have marked her as an artist: from the Berlin techno sound and drum'n'bass to Chicago house and ragga. ► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by Pálida Pálida is Galician producer José Garnelo. With a handful of EPs and three LPs, in his evocative works he has managed to outline a sound of his own that transits the paths of noise, gliding and emotive electronica with a pop soul, minimal and ambient techno. On Saturday, Pálida will perform at the Monkey Week festival in Seville, Spain. 

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by Horse Lords  The Baltimore quartet Horse Lords has released four mixtapes and a magnificent LP, “Interventions,” works full of trance-inducing songs punctuated by a powerful saxophone and with a peculiar style, halfway between avant-rock, krautrock and West African polyrhythms. After playing yesterday at Curtocircuíto International Film Festival in Santiago of Compostela, Horse Lords will be performing today at Villamanuela Festival in Madrid, Spain. 

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by Rozzma by Whisper Not Rozzma is a mysterious MC and producer from Cairo, Egypt, that will set dance floors on fire with his incendiary combination of UK bass, electro, Bedouin melodies and rap. Although he ironically refers to his music as “rave bass from Cairo”, others call it "electro-chaabi". His much-expected debut EP, “Donya Fakka,” will see the light on Acid Arab Discs / Crammed Discs this fall. We'll be keeping an eye on it. 

Rozzma serves up a forceful playlist with a focus on new electronic producers from the Cairo scene. An unmerciful and gritty collection of tunes full of saturated basses, cut-up vocals and Arabic melodies with the spotlight on bass music and Egyptian hip hop.

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by Esplendor Geométrico Esplendor Geométrico is a Spanish duet formed by Arturo Lanz and Saverio Evangelist, genuine pioneers of industrial music and EBM. With a really extensive and avant-garde discography to their credit, their harsh, cold and hypnotic sound has influenced artists like Autechre and Pan Sonic. Esplendor Geométrico will be performing at the 981Heritage festival tomorrow at Sala El Sol in Madrid, Spain. 

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by Vitalic Vitalic is Pascal Arbez, a French producer with an extensive and varied trajectory full of stellar moments—an adjective that perfectly fits his space imagery—like “La Rock 01” and “Flashmob, ” both memorable electro hits. A few months ago, he released “Voyager,” an album in which he leans towards more synthey sounds. Vitalic serves up a playlist with a marked retrofuturistic and space flavor that draws from classics of contemporary electronica such as Air and The xx, but in which there's also room for disco and Italo classics like Charlie's “Spacer Woman,” pioneers of synth music like Bernard Fèvre and Jean-Michel Jarre and hits by David Bowie and Elton John.

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by ALA.NI British-born and Paris-based artist ALA.NI published her debut LP, "You & I," a couple of years ago, an alluring and magnetic work of great emotional intensity that draws from Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday's classic American jazz in which she dives—with her divine voice—in the deep abyss of love. Tonight she’ll be playing Altaveu festival in Sant Boi, Barcelona, Spain. If you are in town, don't miss the chance to see her live! 

► LISTEN to this Playmoss playlist: Good Fridays by La Bien Querida by eargasmweb Spanish musician Ana Fernández-Villaverde aka La Bien Querida (The Well-Loved) has released four studio albums, four rotund and essential works in which she has proved her enormous talent to compose intimate songs traversed by light, melancholy, darkness and a quirky sense of humor.  La Bien Querida has prepared an eclectic and very amusing playlist that combines absolute classics and more unknown tracks. A bright collection of songs in which there's room for Brian Eno, Kraftwerk, New Order and The Cure as well as for indie music, flamenco and trap, and even rancheras.

Mella Dee is British DJ and producer Ryan Aitchison, who also owns the label Warehouse Music.
