Saw this meme and instantly wanted to draw it with him because one of the things that Antony does really well with Homelander is the tiny changes in facial expression. I tried to capture it with my drawing but I'm not sure my style does him justice 😅

I do really like his character. I probably won't draw him much, only because he doesn't give me a lot of art inspiration, but you never know!

I have mixed feelings on butchlander as a ship because 1 I HATE Butcher he's probably one of my least favourite characters on the whole show and 2 him and Homelander actually barely get any scenes together so I didn't get drawn in. However I think their dynamic can be so interesting and all the fanworks for them are really good! So I've kinda got into them purely through art and fic 😂

Unfortunately for Homelander, Billy was also a serious threat and wasn't on the same page as him about the nature of their rivalry. It was never a game to Billy, even though he had a lot of fun.
