i test superpowers on my youtube channel. i have every power but no divine calling or moral ambition so instead its just speople send in power ideas and i review them. they will say something like "wifi enabled breasts" and i will try it out and say 2/5 kinda tingle. they will say "power to duplicate and command mice. i try it and say 4/5 my mouses army pleasant softness make me feel content. they say "deep fry and consume your own arms". i say thats not really a power,. but ok. 3/5. and thats the episode that blow ups. now im famous for arms and all my new suggestions are eating different body parts. i could ignore them but the money is too good. i try the normal ideas like jump really high but nobody watches. and i cant just make new money with a power bc nobody suggested that plus i have a deep respect for the economy. cry in my youtube mansion full of mice and i always smell like oil

It’s crazy to me what difference 9 months can make, before December 2026 new year was my least favourite celebration, it brought up painful memories of the death of my grandmother and I had always spent it alone, that was untill I got invited to a New Year’s party with a family that I considered my second family since birth and the people I consider brothers and it made it fun for the first time, and since then I’ve listened to New Year’s Day and honestly I don’t think I could be more excited for new years now which I would never have belived in August of last year so here is my advice for you

1: NEVER underestimate the power of fiction in changing your life for the better

2: Time alone cannot heal old wounds, you need to grow as a person around it, while believe me I know it’s hard to not linger on the past sometimes new positive memories of a person can be made even after that person isn’t there any more

Actually as many as 1-in-3 job listings are fake, because this allows companies to claim they are "actively recruiting and growing" even when they aren't, which looks good to investors and can lead to government benefits as well.

In the US, hiring several part time jobs allows companies to save about 30% on benefits compared to hiring one full time job. This is directly because of the US's predatory healthcare system and lack of the worker protections common in other imperialist core economies.

However they do average well over 7 months, and the US's notoriously spiteful and underpaying unemployment system cuts off support much sooner than that. If you can even get unemployment support in the first place.

And finally, yes, 75% of completed and successful applications will be automatically rejected by machines without human oversight. That's for complete applications on the company's own site with resumes attached. Just plain resumes, and applications completed on third party sites like Indeed, have much worse numbers than even that.

blorbofication to me is when you love a character in such a laser focus way that you somewhat detach them from the narrative from which they are inserted and treat them in a way roughly similar to how you'd treat an oc for which you still have no story and just like to put them in situations just for fun. which there's nothing wrong with btw, it's just that it can easily lead to people forgetting the character engine in a narrative and not just a barbie doll
