During a summer heat wave in Alaska growing up (yes it’s a thing), my dad had several sprinklers and a tractor sprinkler going in the yard. From the woods behind the house suddenly came two young babies and a very large mother.

They came directly towards the tractor sprinkler and sat right down.

My dad verrrrry slowly pulled the hose of the other sprinklers, and repositioned them in the backyard so they would spray grass under the shade of several trees.

Lo and behold, the mother moose got up, walked over to the water now pooling beside these trees, and plomped down. The two babies followed after and just fell over in the cool water.

the problem with having a cool/enby/colorful haircut if you live in a place like Poland is that you end up having the same hair as your grandma. and many grandmas out on the streets will have wilder colors and better color matched wardrobe than you.

I just saw somone little in a long coat and short purple hair and a turquoise beret and thought that was my enby ex but then they turned around and it was literally somebody's grandma. the struggle is real

CROSSOVER!!! From the vast wilds of Avervast come @sawyerleeart ‘s magnificent dragons, the Holdtaker and the fearsome Great Kinsbane!

Freshly grown out of its brown juvenile colors, a young Holdtaker sets forth in search of an older dragon with whom to form a “sireship”, an arrangement where the whelp preens, cleans and helps raise its sire’s young, while learning the ways of life in return. This particular Holdtaker is eager to prove itself, and so it has chosen the slumbering, cannibalistic Great Kinsbane.

Sireship between the two species is exceptionally rare, on account of the fact that the Great Kinsbane has a taste for other dragons. But at least one such pairing has been documented before…

So, here is a window into what such an odd bond might entail!

And the two here are only a tiny glimpse into Avervast. @sawyerleeart has crafted an enormous menagerie of wondrous, strange, dangerous dragons, each with their way of life. There really is nothing else quite like the world they’ve created. Do take a look!
