I’d also like to add it’s not just private prisons. It’s also private detention centers where ICE keeps the immigrants.

It’s not even covert. It’s blatant and overt. It’s even called slavery in the constitution.

Why are you more upset at the protesters throwing water bottles and rocks at cops than the fact that those cops are in riot gear shooting rubber bullets and tear gas on protesters who were peaceful?

you're getting ice cream with your friend and they make a comment about the fat person eating an ice cream cone you SAY, "oh then I guess you don't want ice cream, let's go." (fat people don't need to earn food even for enjoyment)

Now, given the information above, do you really think your anger is best directed at a group of famous people who want to use their fame to bring attention to what every human rights organization and genocide scholar has determined to be a genocide? Considering how many journalists and medical personnel have been killed, as well as the fact that even diplomats were shot at by the Israeli military, the fact that people on the Freedom Flotilla are famous helps protect them from being killed like so many others, since killing them would provoke outrage.

They are using their privilege as a protective mechanism and as a means to bring attention to one of the greatest atrocities being committed in modern day history. So yeah, sure, they're privileged. But I want privileged people to do everything in their power to get aid to Gaza and bring attention to the suffering of Palestinians.
