The Cosmic Vine: A Galactic Chain from the Dawn of Time !

In 2023, the James Webb Space Telescope glimpsed a breathtaking structure woven across the early universe—a chain of 20 galaxies, now called the Cosmic Vine. Stretching an unimaginable 13 million light-years, this ancient formation appeared just 3 billion years after the Big Bang, far earlier than scientists ever expected galaxies to organize at such scale.

This discovery challenges our very models of cosmic evolution, suggesting that massive structures were already forming when the universe was still in its youth. The galaxies appear to be strung together like beads on a filament of gravity and dark matter—an elegant trace of the cosmic web theorized to shape the large-scale structure of the universe.
