Interestingly, though The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is narrated by Boris Karloff, the big musical number is sung by the late Thurl Ravenscroft - an American voice actor better known as the voice of Tony the Tiger.

My headcanon is that the Grinch and Tony the Tiger had a bad breakup, and “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” is the resulting breakup song.

You’re not bothered?? I’m not only not bothered, I’m freaking invested. I’m having actual empathetic sadness for The Grinch. I want them to go into couple’s counseling. I want the “ten years later” when Tony visits Whoville on business and meets the reformed Grinch whose heart has grown 3 times its usual size. I want them to reminisce over a shared dinner of roast beast and wine, then spend a drunken night together, then realize that maybe things are different and people really do change. I want a 3-act story where there’s a long dark night of soul searching and the realization that maybe we’ve all got a little bit of bad banana with greasy black peel inside us, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make a damned fine banana bread if someone will give us a chance.

So get this, i think i found Dean Winchester....

It's freaking freezing outside ( the temperature is down to - 3 degree Celsius/26.6 degree Fahrenheit + it's foggy ) and There was a guy, walking down the street, only wearing a red flannel and a cowboy-hat + Bolotie, looking around and being suspicious.

What if there's a monster or vengeful spirit in my neighborhood?

I'm proud Christian.

I was taught that you should love everyone equally. No matter what religion, color, gender or sexuality they have. For me it was basic for love: Loving someone for who they are. And that is what i do.

It means, that if i fall in love with you, i fall in love with who you really are. I fall in love with you because of your character and heart, not because of your looks. You may think you're ugly and i see deep down inside you your beauty that hasn't come to the surface yet. I think you're beautiful, even though other people don't. I think that, because i know your character and you could never change your character for 100 percent, there'd still be a part of you i loved. And that part will be loved by me for ever. Even if we aren't together as a couple, i would see the character i love and all those little flaws and scars i love. And that should be basic for every christian out there, because love is tge fundament of our religion and we should respect that and keep on going with that tradition.

That thought always is in my mind and it is so important for my religion. But also for my sexuality. And we should respect the sexualities of others.

Imagine when destiel becomes canon...

The episode would probably have to be an extra long special or spilt into two parts or something. The episode starts off with everyone going to sleep. (Except cas of course) so dean goes to sleep and while he’s asleep, he dreams everything that happens in Twist and Shout. They’re in the 60s, he meets cas, everything happens the same and the episode is full of direct quotes from t&s and the whole fandom dies. And then right as dean writes Dear Cas, it fades out and he wakes up screaming CAS! Cas sensing it and he comes to dean, dean cries into cas shoulder and keeps muttering “I’m sorry, I’ll never leave, I’m so sorry,” and Cas asks what is wrong and dean just kisses him, hard, tears streaming down his face. And it pauses right then as can’t help falling in love with you is playing the background, and the screen goes black and we hear misha whisper “see you then,”

Hi, Nonnie!I don’t know why some people have the idea that Jensen is a homophobe. The factthat he might feel uncomfortable when being constantly asked about hischaracter Dean’s relationship with Cas, Sam, Benny, Crowley, etc. doesn’t proveanything. Some time ago in a previous post I said that before episode 10x05, heprobably didn’t understand what Destiel really meant to the fans. That’s whywhen he read the script for the 200th episode, he went to talk toJeremy Carver. I’m sure whatever Jeremy explained to him helped him understandthe Dean/Cas dynamic better. I certainly don’t blame him for associatingDestiel with two guys fucking each other and only that. Many people think that’sall we care about. That we just ship Destiel because they’re two very handsomeguys and it would be really hot to see them together on screen. Anyone would feeluncomfortable if they thought they were being often sexualized instead of beingappreciated for their hard work and great acting. But Destiel doesn’t mean sexto us, or at least not to most of us. (We have fan fiction for that!) Destielmeans unconditional love between two characters who have been through so muchtogether. It means being worthy of love despite these characters’ imperfectionsand mistakes. It means queer representation. It’s not about sex! After the 200th episode, Jensen has been a lot more comfortable when asked about the Dean/Casrelationship because I think that now he really understands it’s important tothe fans and why.

Regardingyour awful comment that Jensen is a homophobe, I’d like you to know that hisaunt is a lesbian and he’s very close to her. This is Jensen with his aunt andher partner.

I thinkwhen people ask these kinds of questions, they usually forget that Jensen is anactor and a very good professional. He would complain if he felt that what he’ssupposed to do was OOC because he respects Dean Winchester, a character he’splayed for over 10 years. But if the writers didn’t screw it up, I’m sure Jensenwould just go where the story took them.
