Honestly, something I donβt really see talked about much is the fact that Nite-Owl is depicted as plus-sized in the Watchmen comic.
Despite being bigger than he was in his prime, heβs still depicted as reasonably competent, intelligent, and even attractive. Itβs small, but really means a lot to see a superhero with a similar build to mine, and not played for laughs either.
all of this is, of course, completely ignored by the film adaptation π«©

the question is, if I have a story that I finished, then put on AO3 and let it live there for a while, but then I got back to it and went "huh wait, I could expand on this actually" would I just start adding more chapters to the original story or should I post an entirely new work for the continuation? because the original one does work on its own
