Sad that the heirloom is already -checks notes- -checks lack of Mag heirloom because of exclusivity- -ugly sobbing- Pity that it is too close to the prime look, and deluxe skins try to follow a theme. Also, while I agree that the older prime skins are... kinda of weak... A "new and improved prime look" does feel a little disrespectfull to the og designer.

Warframe side of tumblr, I need your help!... The fuck is happening in the quest?
And no, this is not about "what" but rather "how". Because how the story is structured it feels like the player is with the Hex's pov. We are aware of as much as they are, not what the Drifter knows!
So this is my understanding of the quest:
-We discovered that Entrati is in 1999 so we time travel there.
-1999 is under a time loop, we see Arthur die twice in story after all (during Whispers in the walls and this quest).
-When we arrive, we are trapped, as is Albertch, in the time loop. The video recording of Entrati states so.
-To escape, the energy from the nuclear explosion is needed.
-The Drifter refuses to leave the Hex and escape with Entrati. We time loop once again to try to save the Hex, and with the bonds that we form, we do.
Simple, right? Except, there are a bunch of things that the Drifter says that I don't have any explenation, except of one. When the quest starts, the Drifter has already looped? They know about the reactor exploding, they know WHERE Entrati is being kept hostage (and then we get jumpscared), and such (I remember from the top of my head those two). So, what gives? Am I right or am I missing something?
There are some parts of the quest that are intentionally vague but I am not sure if I am getting them right.
Also, was Wally's objective to corrupt the time line from 1999 as an anchor and wanted to cage Entrati in 1999 to finally catch him?

This one is shorter but it is the same, nonetheless, since I already vent about Marie. Spoilers, although it is just a little detail.
I know there was much discussion about these two when they were first announced. I know there was a lot of people that weren't exactly... eager to play couples' therapy with them (or that you couldn't romance them but that is whatever). I gave this the benefit of the doubt... until I arraived at a certain convo. And I was given this option:
"I know you two have personal problems to sort out, but I've decided I don't want to get involved."
And to be real? This IS the right option. Sure, the other one is about making them talk about the issue. But, for me, that implied STILL getting involved in the middle of that mess. And I have, in real life, played the fool of the mediator between two people and their problems.
Listen well, people, relationships are two ways streets. At least the healthy ones. You have to put your part in it, and so does the other party. But a third person has no business in it, because the relationship is about "you and the other". They can advice you, you can talk the issues with another. But they can't get in the middle of the conversations, or talk for you, or for the other. Cause that is never going to be geniune to the relationship itself. In the end, the relationship is about you, and the other, and what you two do with it... SO WHEN I SAW THAT PICKING THE HEALTHY, RATIONAL, AND MATURE OPTION MADE ALL FOLLOWING CONVERSATIONS DRIED UP LIKE A BONE OUT UNDER THE SUN? Man I call bullshit on that whole mess and it makes those two my least liked protoframes.
That was a mayor failure on the part of the writing team. I get it was a little experimental, but a failure is a failure. It should have never been up to us, the players, the outcome of that relationship. That would have been more realistic. Maybe you could have talked with them and the nature of relationships. And maybe, if they wanted to "gamefy it", maybe they could have played into their flaws, and still advice them about them. Gathering "points" through the conversations. And, through that, having them talk it out on their own terms. BUT IN PRIVATE CHATS, WITH ONE ON ONE CONVERSATIONS THAT WERE MORE ABOUT THEM AS PEOPLE AND RELATIONSHIPS IN GENERAL AND NOT THEIR MESS.
I know that sounds like what we got, but it isn't. What we got is "daddy and mommy screaming at each other in the room" simulator. It would have been cool to build a relationship with each of them as individuals, talking about the subject of relationships and how they can change, mend or break. But instead we got a relationship with THEIR relationship.
Spoilers under the cut about the following conversation after the one about Entrati. I need to vent a little detail that is annoying me.
There comes a conversation with Marie, where you two talk about Entrati. I think most of the variations devolve into Marie getting angry with you, which, bravo to the writing team. I actually liked that because Entrati was never going to be an easy topic with her when... basically every single character in the game tells you how much his actions have hurt them. It is an anger that comes less from you being kinda of an ass, and more from a flaw in the character (her idiolization of Entrati).
On a personal note, I was pretty neutral about him. He is clearly opposing Wally, and is taking action to do it. Some of them, I believe, he didn't want to, but saw as necessary (like leaving Loid or his family). Others, he clearly didn't take them into account (see the whole Hex mess). And in a way, he is falling victim to Wally's general objective. The lack of love, the lack of feelings, the apathy and indiference to it all. Entrati is a complicated character and the writting team must be SUPER careful with that cause it is pretty easy to mess it up. You can't have a character where most of the cast says is the worse and then go "No, you see, he had complex motivations all along!". You can do that but you must also acknowledge that this does not justify his actions when the general consensus in the story is "he sucks".
The whole whispers in the wall and him telling Wally how his undoing is going to be love is what sold me in him being not entirely a bad man. His problem is that he is trying to play 5d chess and taking an "evil" role to, I dunno, seed motivations? (like the whole building the Hex's trust, which was his objective), while ignoring the UNINTENTIONAL harm that he does. I believe his character can justify, to himself, harm if it is for "the greater good", while regretting it. But there is shit that he does that I don't think he realizes how much or how serious it is, while not actually being part of his "plan". Anyway back to Marie.
This is why I try to not condem him as much as the options that we are given allow me. Because what I want and I think what the deal with him is right now, is that there is a lot of uncertainty about his motivations and actions. The moral is definitely "good intentions, unexcusable executions", but that is besides the point. Although it isn't. Because this is the little detail that annoys me.
During your conversation with Marie, she can come down to a point where she comments about how Entrati is fighting a war against The Indifference and how sometimes innocents get hurt. You can arrive at it in different manners, one of them feels a little bit like you are playing her just to give her a little knife to the back. But without hindsight I think that one is purely luck. No, I arrived at it with her getting pissed and complaining about how everyone hates Entrati and her comment about she being the only "daughter" that forgives. And I could either:
-Talk down to her.
-Comment in how Roathe would be so proud of her (about the war and innocents comment).
-Or question her where does it say in her faith that it is okay for innocents to suffer because of a war... I chose this one cause I felt like the Roath one was too much of an unpredictable bomb. I LIKED it, but it felt really mean considering her distaste for the smurf.
And she got angry at me because my Drifter is an atheist (kinda of. Like they don't see Wally as a god, more like an eldritch horror. I might try to curate that better next time cause I didn't like that much how that is settled. As if Wally is something without a will. Cause he has PLENTLY of will). Here is the point that is annoying.
I chose that option to make her face what she was saying. How in her idolatry she was betraying her own faith. THE THING IS, this is the intending outcome... AS LONG AS IT IS NOT SETTLED THAT YOUR DRIFTER HAS NO FAITH. If you have cemented that your Drifter doesn't believe, she will call you cowardly for using her faith against her to "win" the conversation, and your only two options are to apologize, or to admit that you were frustrated but saw no other way to make her understand... BITCH I MEANT A 100% THAT OPTION. And the annoying thing is that my intention? The literal reason behind that option? Is blocked behind not saying that you don't believe Wally is a god in other conversations. Like she ADMITS that in her faith innocents suffering because war is not okay in THE OTHER options. But in that comment suddenly it is different because I don't believe??? What??? Like, bitch (I am annoyed, okay?), I can not believe (I am irl atheist) and still engage about faith. Specially if I can smell bullshit that is recognized in OTHER options.
You can mend up things with Lyon's or Roathe's (apparently) help, to help Loid reunite with the family. But I have not sean so far anyway to fix the dating her issue.
So, tldr; the writing team made Marie be a little of a hypocrite if you use her faith to make her see at what length she is going to go to excuse Entrati if your Drifter is an atheist. You can still get her help with Loid's issue, but dating her is, as far as I know, screwed.
EDIT: So apparently you can date her, even if you screw up. But it involves asking Roathe for help... the thing is? If you screw up by being an ass I am fine with you asking for forgiveness. But under THIS route? I don't like the options it gives us. Or rather, THE option, because you can only ask for forgiveness in a single way. And I don't like it. It ignores the issue itself, asking her to forgive you for offending her? It doesn't adress at all the mess with calling her out when you yourself don't believe. And the stupid part is that it is only SOME of the options of not believing, not all of them.
Sigh, I guess it is playing it a little devilish if you don't believe and still want to date her... Which, by the way, I LOATHE that for some stupid reason saying that you don't believe Wally is a god is taken as if you didn't believe Wally was real. WHEN IN MY CONVERSATION WITH ROATHE I ARGUE WITH HIM ON THAT VERY SUBJECT.

The in game region chat is canon, it's just all the Tenno talking to each other.
So when you see, "just busted down my femboy, god is dead" in chat, that's a Tenno getting a little to comfortable in the, "serious communications" chat.
The Lotus has several serious talks with the Tenno about not swearing over chat. She also doesn't know what a "femboy" is, but you shouldn't be busting down on anyone during a mission.

I couldn't find/ wasn't aware of a character meme for Warframe so I decided to make one to my liking! Featuring my Operator Goss and his main frames, second image previews/explains the template. Hoping to get a Drifter put together at some point as well.

A bit late, but in some timezones is still Halloween! Here we have Minnie again, with the lovely bat costume Big Toriel made her (even if it ended up not being so visible... Also Kris in their wolf costume, and a shirt that Susie gave them, because a wolf always has a pack! Also everytime I draw Kris they are going to have different features, bodytypes and skin colors, because it's funnier that way. Don't worry, the soul isn't going to possess anybody, they just want to get a closer look! Before being hit by Minnie's chocolate lollipop... Again.
One year ago (July 2, but spend the day being hung up after we cleaned him so the formal introduction was the 3th) we found this little fella in a box outside a trashcan and took him home, now knowing how much joy and silliness he'll give us by just existing. So after a whole year I want to introduce everybody to Gustav (he/they), the little elderly alien who brightens our days with his ever-expanding lore and shenanigans. Maybe in september, when I have access to my computer again, I can upload all of the silly drawings he protagonized and his crazy lore!
Techrot Encore has brought me immense disappointment, not because any of the content, au contraire, the content is good- but because it's flipped a very particular rock upside down, under which all the bigots in the community were hiding. One after another I keep seeing youtubers (some which I respected like TheDSiege and some which I never have like fucking kf lol) misgendering Flare. It just keeps happening. The fucking SUBREDDIT is doing BETTER in this regard. It genuinely kills me on the inside.
Some people would just genuinely purposefully mistake a cow for a horse. Incredible. I guess there's just evil assholes out there.

It is with some of her characteristic bite that she claims that it has to be some kind of achievement to renounce not one, but two very petty and cruel goddesses that aren't know for being forgiving. Regarthless of this, and the problems it has brought to her, she gives you the impression that she is very proud of that. After so many years, V has gotten used to the customs and mannerisms of surface-dwellers and takes malicious amusement in watching others struggle to decide how best to deal with her. She has learned much, however, and some of the venom in her fangs has faded, replaced by an understanding of where true strength lies. After a life of serving the whims of cruel goddesses, V has found a calling in the Oath of Conquest, to never again let others push their wills on her own... although... isn't this just another kind of chain?... She is in the search of someone, after surviving an attempt on her life a long, long time ago...
