Something to note if you wanna date Roathe (and which direction to pick your responses in) but don't want to use the Kimulacrum to cheat:
I think too many people see the kim chats as just game characters and not as "what if they were real people with real feelings" type thing.
Realistically, if you think about it from his pov, Lyon and Marie already shit on him all the time. Part of it is warranted but it's not all there is to him. That's why he's so antagonistic and prickly towards them too. But not the drifter, when you first chat with him. At that point of the story, he has just managed to teleport them back to the present. He's lonely and the only two other people there he can interact with hate him. Because he's blue, a demon basically, can't go out into the 'normal' world.
And then the drifter shows up! Wow new face to talk to! So interesting! And then he starts writing to the drifter, hoping he can actually get some conversation out of them, philosophical or otherwise. To spill his wretched aching soul out a bit.
And now try to put yourself in his shoes (yes even if he's Orokin). The drifter starts shitting on him too. Not just calling him out once or twice, but every single chance they get. What would you think if you were him? Hypothetically?
"Oh, they don't want to have a conversation, they're here to hate on me like everyone else, I guess this was a waste of time" *Blocked* Right? Why waste his time speaking to someone who never wants to hear him out, the same way he's curious and asks us of our opinions.
The point I am trying to make here is, if you want to get along with him, you need to have a healthy dose of patience, some criticism to guide him in the right direction, without straight up forsaking him for what he is. (He hates himself enough already). You need to be willing to discuss complicated topics from more of a middle ground before finally giving your opinions on them. He wants to talk, let him talk, don't go "Oh you're Orokin fuck you" every option the game gives you. He's not made out of solid rock. He likes banter, but he doesn't appreciate being kicked around any chance the drifter gets. Don't accuse him of hating everyone around him, he doesn't, he just kinda sucks at building connections. Look at his past life to see why.
And thus my longwinded analysis is over, didn't want to spoil anything but I wanted to indirectly help the Roathe girlies who might be struggling a bit. He's complicated :D Give him a chance to speak with a healthy dose of criticism (not hate) and his heart shall be yours.
Don’t act like Marie and Lyon towards him if you wanna date him, if their approach worked he’d be dating them :D
