first, we get amir being upset. my poor drifter has a huge crush on the exciteable nerd, and has been accidentally flirting too close to the sun and causing him to panic.

this time, she tries just a BIT too hard to get him to open up. overcorrecting for her accidentally causing him to back out of talking about his problems before. it goes poorly. lots of caps lock dramatics between the two.

smash cut to quincy offering dating advice in the very same day. my drifter, exasperated, bites the bullet. asks about amir. and gets told she must be "into charity" for liking his brother.

that day ends, and she's this close to smashing her computer.

NEXT SET OF CONVERSATIONS ROLL AROUND. amir tells drifter about some bullshit quincy pulled where he took some papers he was working on, used them for target practice, says they "weren't important anyway". ol marty wants to fight quincy even more now...

making matters MORE confusing, is aoi asking her on a date. drifter. has NOT been asked out before. she's just excited to get drinks with her lovely magnetokinetic friend, she's not thinking about the fact that aoi called it a date not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES before the end of the conversation.
