I would suggest the poodily snickerdoodle dogs from Vancouver Washington. The folk who have them, lost a puppy in Loveland Colorado which took to our family as a lost dog. They are a midsized almost a poodle but with smoother straighter hair. They are truly a mongrel but they are the most WONDERFUL happy dogs with a certain level of empathy which truly is inducive of psychism. They are perfectly incapable of being mean or even really growling. If ever one is sad or scared of a thunderstorm, it will cause physical stomach pain to whoever is monitoring them. 

Theyre truly worth more financially speaking, however in most cases: the owner is bound to a contract that forbids them to be bought or sold. They are truly... just a happier dog. It probably has something to do with the microbial content of their blood and saliva.
