I haven't been able to write anything since 2020, and it was slowing down before that. blame adhd, depression, the general state of the world, idk. it's been 3 years. it sucks.

In honour of Gadget, the best boy and original Miniature Snoozer, who my sister's family are saying goodbye to today after almost 13 years.
Gadget was the best boy, my first favourite dog, and when he and his little brother Gizmo moved out to Australia a few years ago, I missed their little beardy faces so much that now I have this monkey.
Gadget was a great fan of tennis balls, and a regular defender of the world from the evils of cardboard tubes. His favourite food was everything (okay, actually apples), and he loved going to the vet so much (they gave him treats) that they'd think he was fine even when he was on his deathbed.
He would like it very much if everyone could pet their schnauzers, or other furry friends, and give them a little treat today.
And tomorrow. And all the days, really.
I haven't abandoned this story. I just put it on the back burner for now. The story is just on a small vacation. It is currently out of office. It can't come to the phone right now. It just fell under my bed to sleep with the monsters. It never left my head. It is everywhere - except on paper.
