Seeking out transphobia online is a form of self harm.

Through out our lives, we will encounter enough transphobia without our consent, directly and indirectly, that will most likely result in PTSD. My therapist says my PTSD is so bad she compared it to someone returning from war (lmao). It can be debilitating at times and I am learning to manage, but im just happy to have survived long enough to see a good life is possible for someone like me.

I am 30. A lot of the people who were posting when I was 17, 18, 19, 20 are dead now. They arent here to beg you to protect your mental health and tell you the most important thing we can do, for ourselves and our community, is survive and thrive. So I am.

Please protect your peace at all costs.

Proving that transandrophobia exists by exposing yourself to hate for people who are not even engaging in good faith is not worth your life, or the lives of people in our community.

You do not have to take a screenshot of the most hateful thing you've ever seen and share it to thousands of other people who will be distressed and triggered by it too. Tumblr loves to take those posts and mass recommend them.

Do you wonder why? Do you think its to help us or hurt us to blast us with screenshots of new slurs? I think its to hurt us.

The varying wavelengths of different colors

Insurance agencies use M markers to deny coverage for pregnancy related healthcare. Doctors offices hang up on pregnant people trying to schedule pre- and post-natal appointments for themselves because their voices or their names aren’t feminine enough. And if they manage to make the appointment, they can get harassed out of the waiting rooms or face medical malpractice behind closed doors.

Charities and benefits made for pregnant or new mothers don’t accept pregnant/new fathers or non-gendered parents. The WIC fund is called women, infants, and children.

If we degender pregnancy and childbirth (and periods while we’re at it) we open up support for every trans and intersex person who needs it. We normalize pregnant people of other genders and sexes, leaving less room for harassment and malpractice and more accountability for those who decide to be assholes anyway.

I’m sorry but that’s thinking way too small, hear me out:

We need to have Miss Piggy as Odysseus, and Kermit as Penelope.

Think about it… who’s the more fickle, prideful, warlike one in that relationship? Who is absolutely ready to go ham, at a moment’s notice?

What's one thing you want to do but can't because of e.g. time, money, age, etc?

I want to do sword fighting like hema stuff but can't because the equipment is expensive and I'm too young
