the last time taylor’s album booklets contained secret messages was 11 years ago, and the first time she called out the ever-pervasive paternity testing of her work was in 2017 (see: the reputation prologue snippet below), so why are some people a) saying she actively “encourages” said paternity testing to this day despite ample evidence to the contrary, and b) holding her creative choices during her teenage years, choices she outgrew in her early 20s, over her head as a grown adult? it’s just bizarre.

"Thanks! This is so nice. It's so nice to be here. Raye giving this to me is so cool, because I'm a massive fan of hers. It's just like, I didn't know—everything you do is so interesting, and I'm just a massive fan. But we actually got to tour together on the Eras Tour, which, thank you! And also just being here, with fans, with people who clearly love music so much, the album The Life of a Showgirl was just really inspired by the energy that I felt looking into crowds and seeing you guys, and connecting with you every single night, and so the album came out with this energy of just feeling really happy, and strong, and confident, and free. And I think that this album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that's the way that I get to feel every single day of my life because of my fiancé, who is here tonight, so thanks for all the vibes. I really just wanted to say thank you also to iHeart, and to anyone who cared about The Fate of Ophelia, because you made that the biggest hit of my career, which is crazy at this point. And thank you, I just, I love my fans so much for giving me the ability to do this. I love what I do. I love that you've allowed me to do it for this long. And I just appreciate every day I get to do this. Thank you!"
