to be clear since this is making the rounds: she has to be an absolute loser in no way that can be pinned on her gender. no "i'm just a girl tee-hee" stuff. straight up just a loser (nondenominational)

terrifying when you watch a movie or a show or whatever & youre like that was fun but it felt a little redundant they didnt need to hammer the point home that much & then you go online & theres thousands of people going that was so weird i did not get it what did that mean google.com ending explained please?

My dad has apparently had the experience now of watching one (1) k-drama and now having Netflix fill up his feed with nothing but k-dramas.

It’s interesting to me how media from some countries is considered like genres on their own. My dad just likes well made dramas. Doesn’t really care what country it’s from as long as there’s an English dub. But instead of recognizing he likes dramas in general and this is the first time ever he’s watched a k-drama the algorithm was like ah yes Korea must be the key here. Not the broader genre as a whole.

They've had pretty damn near 20 years to dial in the algorithm and have it zero in on your precise taste, and yet the best they can do is "Korea? Korea."
