The addition of creamy avocado and juicy tomato slices to the classic grilled cheese sandwich makes it taste even better and fill you up.
Ingredients: 2 slices of bread. 1 ripe avocado, sliced. 1 ripe tomato, sliced. 2 slices of cheddar cheese. Butter or margarine.
Instructions: On a piece of bread, put one slice of cheddar cheese. Put slices of avocado on top of the cheese. On top of the avocado, put slices of tomato. Put the second piece of cheese on top of the tomatoes. Put the other piece of bread on top to make a sandwich. Cover the outside of the sandwich with butter or margarine. Place the pan on medium heat. It will take about 34 minutes per side to cook the sandwich until both sides are golden brown and the cheese melts. Take it out of the pan, cut it up if you want, and serve it hot.
