1. push yourself to get up before the rest of the world - start with 7am, then 6am, then 5:30am. go to the nearest hill with a big coat and a scarf and watch the sun rise. 2. push yourself to fall asleep earlier - start with 11pm, then 10pm, then 9pm. wake up in the morning feeling re-energized and comfortable. 3. get into the habit of cooking yourself a beautiful breakfast. fry tomatoes and mushrooms in real butter and garlic, fry an egg, slice up a fresh avocado and squirt way too much lemon on it. sit and eat it and do nothing else. 4. stretch. start by reaching for the sky as hard as you can, then trying to touch your toes. roll your head. stretch your fingers. stretch everything. 5. buy a 1L water bottle. start with pushing yourself to drink the whole thing in a day, then try drinking it twice. 6. buy a beautiful diary and a beautiful black pen. write down everything you do, including dinner dates, appointments, assignments, coffees, what you need to do that day. no detail is too small. 7. strip your bed of your sheets and empty your underwear draw into the washing machine. put a massive scoop of scented fabric softener in there and wash. make your bed in full. 8. organise your room. fold all your clothes (and bag what you donât want), clean your mirror, your laptop, vacuum the floor. light a beautiful candle. 9. have a luxurious shower with your favourite music playing. wash your hair, scrub your body, brush your teeth. lather your whole body in moisturiser, get familiar with the part between your toes, your inner thighs, the back of your neck. 10. push yourself to go for a walk. take your headphones, go to the beach and walk. smile at strangers walking the other way and be surprised how many smile back. bring your dog and observe the dogâs behaviour. realise you can learn from your dog. 11. message old friends with personal jokes. reminisce. suggest a catch up soon, even if you donât follow through. push yourself to follow through. 13. think long and hard about what interests you. crime? sex? boarding school? long-forgotten romance etiquette? find a book about it and read it. there is a book about literally everything. 14. become the person you would ideally fall in love with. let cars merge into your lane when driving. pay double for parking tickets and leave a second one in the machine. stick your tongue out at babies. compliment people on their cute clothes. challenge yourself to not ridicule anyone for a whole day. then two. then a week. walk with a straight posture. look people in the eye. ask people about their story. talk to acquaintances so they become friends. 15. lie in the sunshine. daydream about the life you would lead if failure wasnât a thing. open your eyes. take small steps to make it happen for you.

me: âFine, thanks.â
Lemony Snicket from outta nowhere: âOf course, in this case, âfineâ is only meant to reassure. She has never been less fine, nor was she ever fine in the first place. Here, the word âfineâ could be defined as âI am actually slowly dying on the inside, but donât wish for anyone to worryâ.

Update: Operation Norbury
op-norbury.org â thanks to @sherlock-is-my-pressure-point, weâre working on creating a site via firebase hosting instead of wordpress for now (because firebase is free, haha). I should secure the domain in the next few days (p.s. if youâd like to contribute actual dollars to pay for the domain please message me directly.)
What we will need to launch op-norbury.org â contents, contents, contents! Hereâs the site outline in case you didnât see the previous post:
Our Mission
Holmes/Watson since 1887 - Queer reading in ACD canon - Homosexuality in Victorian literature
Queerbaiting in BBC Sherlock - Romantic Tropes used in Sherlock - Queer Coding in Film applied in Sherlock - Examining BBC/Heartwood Marketing Tactics (including Creator quotes) - Meta Collections: (this is where we need to be very specific - how did the narrative/filmmaking techniques/marketing lead fans to believe the eventual culmination of Sherlock/Johnâs romance â links to resources in the sections above)
Op-Ed
Calling for content creators, admins, researchers to generate submissions, and web developers to update and maintaining the site!
Iâve started a google group so we can coordinate directly â apology in advance that the UI of google group is atrocious, but I figured itâs likely the most accessible (only required a Gmail address) â if you have other suggestions please let me know. Iâve created posts highlighting tasks and positions needed - please check them out and sign up via reply.
Please message me so I can add you to the group, letâs get to work.

@miadifferent created a tumblr blog also. Itâs at https://op-norbury.tumblr.com/ We will try and start posting on there asap. So follow for updates.
@byebyefrost - Have you seen this yet, Adri? Thought this would be perfect for you. I know youâll have something meaningful to contribute.
Iâm just laughing imagining the execs at the BBC like âhow the FUCK do so many of these people know about that internal report on gay representation that we commissioned back in â09???â
The BBC is just asking to be mailed a folder of Johnlock evidence with John as the Vitruvian Man as the first page
Hereâs my contribution for the evening to their sick form of advertising.Â
Pro-Tip
I know most people associate LUSH Cosmetics with white girls and bath bombs but products from this beautiful company have faded my scars and stretch marks, completely gotten rid of my acne, fixed my dry skin problems, thickened my eyelashes, laid my edges, made my hair grow like crazy⌠I can go on and on. Iâve actually never tried the bath bombs, but their skincare and haircare products work magic.
Fading Scars / Stretch Marks Organic Therapy Massage Bar
Extra Dry Skin King of Skin In-Shower Body Conditioner, Skin Drink Facial Moisturizer, Sultana of Soap Bar, Tender is the Night Massage Bar, Eachâs a Peach Massage Bar
Acne Fresh Farmacy Solid Cleanser, Eau Roma Toning Water, Full of Grace Serum Bar
Thickening Lashes Eyes Right Mascara / Lash Milk
Edges R&B Hair Moisturizer (if you put this on your edges before wrapping your hair, theyâll be relaxer-straight when you wake up, lasts about 12 hours), Dirty Styling Cream (cream-based edge control with a matte finish, no more shiny or crunchy edges)Â
Hair Growth NEW! Shampoo Bar, Retread Hair Conditioner
I was asked to list the rest of the products I currently have in my possession, so here yâall go!
FACE / HAIR STUFF
Magical Moringa Facial Moisturizer Oh my lordy. Let me tell y'all about this stuff. Itâs marketed as a moisturizer but I use it as a primer because when you put this on your face, itâs completely matte. Like completely. All day. And it will lock your makeup in place like no other. You can sweat in it, swim in it, whatever. Shit wonât budge. Ever.
Jason & the Argan Oil Shampoo Bar Amazing for volumizing. It made the three bundles in my head look more like five when I used this thing the first time, I kid you not. Also gives your hair a really natural shine. I only use it when I really need a volume boost, otherwise itâs just too much.
No Drought Dry Shampoo If you have a weave, you need this stuff. Period. A lot of times, the natural oils in our scalps (referring to my fellow black women here) are too heavy for Brazilian, Peruvian, etc hair, and so itâs easy for weave to get weighed down between washes. Shake this stuff in your hair, brush it out - bam, flow city.
Honey Trap Lip Balm My favorite lip balm, ever. Really improves the texture of your lips and seals in moisture. However, this is not for fixing chapped lips - use Ultrabalm for that first, and then this to prevent them from chapping again. Also, pro-tip, if you apply it before liquid lipstick, your lipstick wonât crease or dry out all day.
MASSAGE BARS
Strawberry Feels Forever Smells like fresh strawberries! Has a much thinner consistency than the other massage bars, so it can be used every day, like a solid lotion.
Soft Coeur Smells like chocolate and honey, and is ridiculously moisturizing. More heavy-duty than the other bars, so I like to only use this one on spots like my knees, heels, and elbows.
From Dusk til Dawn The shape of this one is amazing. Itâs shaped like a cone, so it gives a deep massage when youâre using it. Definitely recommend if you have any sort of muscle pain.
SCRUBS
The Rough with the Smooth This stuff smells soooo good. Like cotton candy. I use it before I shave because it really does an amazing job at removing any dead skin and it doesnât leave a residue, so it wonât clog your razor. However, itâs a sugar scrub, so it melts super quickly.
Ocean Salt This is a heavy-duty scrub. Really amazing if you have dry, flaky skin, and the healing properties of the salt are really great if you have acne. Itâll dry it up and heal it super quick.
Cup oâ Coffee Face & Body Mask Iâm on my fourth jar of this already. The coffee beans are ground up just enough to give a deep, yet gentle scrub and the caffeine in the bar really does wake up your skin and make it look brighter. Great for the morning.
Buffy It smells like a vacation, thatâs really the only way to describe it. Itâs an exfoliant bar and body butter mixed together, so you rub it all over while youâre still in the shower, and then rinse the sand off. After, rub the oils in and pat dry. No need for lotion after because it seals in the moisture from your shower.
SHOWER GELS / JELLIES
Rose Jam Shower Gel Smells like roses and has a really bubbly lather. More cleansing than moisturizing. I like to use it before a more moisturizing soap because itâs great for removing dirt and oil from the skin.
The Olive Branch Shower Gel A long-time favorite of mine. Great for dry skin, as it has a really creamy lather versus a bubbly one. Also, the smell is very calming and lingers for a long time.
Needles & Pines Shower Jelly Itâs a solid shower gel (consistency of jello), and it smells like Christmas trees! I like to store it in the fridge and use it when itâs hot outside, super cleansing and refreshing.
SOAPS:
Roses All the Way Personal favorite! Smells like roses & vanilla ice cream. Super moisturizing and so, so creamy. Definitely buy if you suffer from dry skin.
Yog Nog Very moisturizing and the scent lingers for a really long time. Smells like snickerdoodles and eggnog.
Bohemian Not at all creamy, as itâs an exfoliating soap. Itâs great to use on dark spots like knees and armpits because the exfoliants soften the skin and the lemon juice evens out your skintone. Smells like lemons.
Karma Another favorite. It has a super thin consistency but is still very moisturizing, so itâs a good shaving soap because it wonât gunk up your razor. Smells like incense and patchouli.
Figs & Leaves Smells like dirt and grass, in a good way. Super cleansing. As in your skin will literally squeak after using it, so I recommend using an in-shower moisturizer like King of Skin after using it.
OTHER:
Atomic Toothy Tabs Solid toothpaste that you crush up in your mouth. It sounds weird but these things are phenomenal. They really leave your teeth squeaky clean, and are the sole reason my teeth are so white - I donât use any whitening products. This particular kind smells like cloves and cinnamon.
Ultrabalm All Purpose Balm This stuff is amazing. Itâs an all-over balm for rough spots. I use it in the winter time on my hands and lips, because they get dry. I also use it year round on my face where I get dry spots, as it doesnât clog pores.
Silky Underwear Dusting Powder Another holy grail. If you could turn cocoa butter into a powder, this would be it. Itâs not drying like baby powder, itâs more silky (itâs also talc-free). I use it between my legs to prevent chafing and under my boobs when itâs hot outside to prevent sweating.
This is actually so helpful because a lot of times I go into lush and I just end up getting pink things and things that smell good because I donât know what other products are worth purchasing!
TALK TO PEOPLE. okay so I only worked there as a seasonal, but these overly polite, overly talkative salespeople have to do 3 demos an hour! SO if they ask if you want to try something, let them. They know what theyâre doing and they will tell you everything you want to know about the product and what it will do for you.
The worst was when I had customers saying that they were just looking because they didnt know a thing about what they were looking at. A lot of the products look identical on the shelves, but they are all specifically tailored for different needs.
Fun facts:
86% of all products are vegan, the rest are vegetarian
everything is ethically sourced, including the charcoal which comes from recycled forest fires
Lush will cut ties with their suppliers if they dont treat their employees nicely enough
Lush saves 10% of their spending budget for emergencies, like when a well broke down in one of their suppliers companies over in Kenya and Lush found out they were lowering women into the well, that money didnt just go to repairing the well, but for getting them a second well as well.
Lush even makes perfume but the scents are about stories instead of smells. Thereâs a little booklet for each one. My favorites are Dear John (about the owner, Mark, not knowing who his dad was) and Dadâs Lemon Tree (which he made after meeting his dad)
Lush also makes makeup, although they are working on getting more pigments
Lush is 21 years old and in 57 countries!
Charity Pot is a lotion that is low scent as not to mix with your other scents, is a lot of cocoa butter, and 100% goes to grassroots charities, they dont even pay people to make it, thatâs how good it is
If you bring in 5 black pots (wash them please, they are dishwasher safe) you can get a free fresh face mask
Lush is the inventor of the bathbomb and most of them have essential oils in them and cocoa butter, so theyâre not just fun, but theyâre actually really good for your skin
There is a Lush Facebook page but more importantly is that there are local Lush facebooks. You can ask them if something is in stock and theyâll get back to you as quickly as possible (the Alderwood location takes only a few hours)
Anything that looks like a big brick of product is sold by weight. Just ask and they will cut you off a piece to fit your budget
FREE SAMPLES. Feel free to ask. They do NOT want to sell you something that is not right for you
Everything is handmade with commercial kitchen like equipment. This is why things donât always look the same, because the recipe changes and different people are making it. Leave room for error and basically Guenivere likes adding more pigment than Brendan does but Brendan makes seasonal stuff thatâs fantastic. Itâs not that itâs gone off or is poorly made. Thereâs a little sticker that shows you who made it and it also has the expiration date on it
It the ingredient list is both green and black, the green is for natural ingredients and black is for synthetic.
If you go in and they dont have something because it was a seasonal or itâs no longer being made, do not be sad. The same scent may be in another product but more importantly, you can still get it. THE LUSH KITCHENÂ puts out products that are no longer being made every night at midnight (UK though so time stuff). Thereâs exclusive merch on there too, including bags and aprons and shirts. Everything goes really really fast though so you have to be ON it.

Youâve also threatened me just now. According to the law about threatsâŚ
âhey so like when weâre done getting off through this glass, on the off chance you die one day and have previously to that been embroiled in a weird good vs evil boss fight with my little brother that ruined his life and has left mycroft terrified of the idea of you, could you justâŚâŚ record a brief little snippet asking if theyâve missed you? I might need to use it later to take over every single screen in London at the exact moment my little brotherâs about to fly off somewhere inconvenient where heâll die and wonât care if I wait a few months before making his best friend that he doesnât have yet but who might at the time be married have an affair with me for no apparent reason, dragging him into some odd little case where he may or may not be killed, killing his bestieâs therapist so I can pretend to be her for the benefit of ultimately doing nothing harmful to him whatsoever. I need him around and alive for all that, you know? hm? why? oh because provided he survives that weird emotionally charged side case and I perform a dramatic reveal prior to not actually hurting a hair on his best friendâs head - because whatâs better than a middle man as a messenger yeah? I mean by this point Iâll already have been in Sherlockâs house and left him a clue but heâs stupid and wonât have got it so Iâll just kill a woman and tranq his love interest instead - mycroft will freak out and completely ignore every rational thought and significant resource he as the supposed british government has to instead come up with some kind of a strange plan to break into this facility which heâs got full administrative control over, thus bringing me sherlock and himself and sherlockâs beau and allowing me to play out some weird fuckin kinks Iâve been storing up for the last couple years.â

âThe Final Problemâ Survival Pack
If you are reading this, you are probably screaming. So are most of us. But some hope remains! This masterpost and theory table collect the fandomâs last hopesâand theyâre less crazy than youâd think.
The main takeaway is that the episode contradicts the rest of the show and real-world events far too much for it to be just a mistake. In fact, the evidence suggests that there will be a fourth episode.
âWhat? Thatâs ridiculous!â
Thatâs what I thought at first, too. But things in real life donât add up, and they canât be explained by bad writing. At this point, a rug pull is simply the most logical explanation. And if weâre wrong, wellâŚit canât really get any worse, can it?
This pack has 6 parts:
Issues: Everything within the episode that makes TFP not only a dumpster fire, but a (literally) unbelievable dumpster fire.
Clues: Real-life weirdness such as cast quotes that donât fit, scenes missing from filming, and strange new promos that hint at a fourth episode.
Descriptions of the two main theories
Theory table: Compares which theories explain which issues
Resources:Â Links to meta that explain specific issues or the episodeâs weirdness as a whole
Conclusions: What it all means, and why we should hold out a little longer.
Enjoy!

Disclaimer: Everything in this post is speculation. If you donât want to get your hopes up, by all means skip it. However, Iâd suggest at least waiting until January 29th before going full-out against Mofftiss (reasons below).

==============Theories================
Itâs in Sherlockâs Mind
Everything in Season 4, since either the end of TAB or Mary shooting Sherlock, is in Sherlockâs mind as he is comatose. This theory requires all three episodes to be at least partly imaginary. A main variation is that John is talking to him as he is comatose, and that what John describes influences what Sherlock imagines.
For meta on variations of this theory, including EMP and Johnâs alibi, please see the TST Survival Pack.
Itâs in Johnâs Mind
Everything in TFP is in Johnâs mind after John is shot. Variations include:
TST and TLD also took place in Johnâs mind.
Mary shot John, not Eurus.
This one is starting to gain more ground, particularly because it would make the whole season an adaptation of âThe Three Garridebsâ, leading to canon Johnlock, etc.

============Conclusions==============
They broke every rule of writing unless itâs a rug pull. The filming, cast and crew quotes, promotional material, and subtext within the episode make no sense unless a fourth episode reveals that it took place in Johnâs or Sherlockâs mind. The reputation of the whole show relies on them successfully revealing the real season finale.
So when would they reveal this fourth episode? When would it air?
Theory 1: Theyâll interrupt the US inauguration on 20/1 to announce it and air it on 22/1.
Theory 2: Theyâll announce it on 22/1 and air it on 29/1.
âThe Final Problemâ is either sheer stupidity or utter genius. Either way, letâs enjoy one last conspiracy.
The game is on.
I will be updating the table and theory list regularly.

If I described your theory inaccurately or you just want to add something, please comment.
If I tagged any of your meta above: I would love to add any other work youâve done that I havenât seen. Â If youâd like to add something, please comment it and I would love to include it in the next update.

â the seemingly dismissal of the fans by the creators is little irritating. You canât bait the audience and then get mad when they donât get what they were expecting. There is a reason Sherlock Holmes books and this show are at the center of queer media critique, and there should be a level of respect for that type of decades-long scholarship. â
Kudos for this writer, and her comprehensive review of the so many faults in this episode and season. Plz thank the writer on her twitter account: @moniqueblognet and the online magazine tumblr account @colorwebmag Â
Plz share everywhere and send the link to BBC and creators.
It covers all good points: women representation, mental illness, queerbaiting, and bad writing.

Critics in 2010: Sherlock is so groundbreaking with the way it shows Sherlockâs deductions on screen!
Blueâs Clues, 1996:
The 4th Episode: A Complete Johnlock Fix-It
The screen is black. Â A womanâs voice cuts through. Â Itâs Mollyâs voice.
âForward? Or Backward?â
A blinding white light floods the darkness. Â A pulsating heartbeat.Â
âBackward,â sighs Sherlock.
White noise stings as scenes are replayed backward. Sherlock and John running backward. Â Johnâs fist recoiling from Sherlock in the morgue. Â The christening, backward. The birth, backward. Â The plane glides into the air, tail first. Magnussenâs limp body jolts into standing position, Sherlock puts the gun back in Johnâs pocket. The flashdrive jumps from the fire, into Johnâs hand. Â The gun drops, the coin falls back into Maryâs fingers. Sherlock raises from Magnussenâs floor, the blood-stained shirt turns freshly white. Mary stands across from Sherlock, gun drawn.
