I don’t blame spin for using religion as a weapon I mean, honestly that’s why I stopped following your religion in the first place cause it’s always used as a weapon. It’s just a bunch of rules made up by a bunch of dudes to control people who didn’t want to live the same way as they did by saying that some higher being whispered in their ear and told them this is the way whatever you’re listening to is obviously malevolent when the truth is, if there is some kind of cosmic being out there, it doesn’t give two shits about the tiny little specs of life on this planet. Good better other wise religion is mostly been used to steal and call it divine right manifest destiny still land still people still, virtue, steal, resources, steal peoples will then the tools that they use have been altered so much they don’t even resemble their original forms so I just go with the original voice the one that inspired them all the voice that inspired God in the beginning my own thoughts cause that’s all God is ancient people not understanding that they have their own voices in their head, their own inner thoughts, and believe it was something outside of them, something bigger and convinced people around them that the voices that they were hearing their own thoughts or somehow divine explain a way all the scary things they didn’t understand in the world and then when they were asked what does God look like they started making shit up more fantastical. The more people believed, and when other people didn’t believe they had to make up their own version of what God was or gods cause someone couldn’t believe that one God could do everything and then another thought. Well it’s God doesn’t need help. I believe if it’s guy can’t be defined so everything that you’re saying is bullshit God‘s a man God’s a woman God has to have hands and eyes. God cares if you live or die God made one planet with life on it and said that’s enough, but I’ll continue creating the rest of the universe. I just won’t put life on any of the other planets. Yeah the Bible is a gun. It’s a gun that evolves it used to be a sword and before it was a Bible, it was just the person running around with an open fist or maybe a spear and all it is is a system of rules to control others and when they can’t be controlled, it’s an excuse to erase them so the rest of the religions and I know I’m gonna piss off a lot of people. I really don’t give a shit you can worship you cannot worship you can live your life. It’s not gonna matter to me. I’ll probably never meet any of you but honestly, we know that is the truth and some of us will continue to convince ourselves that it’s not and continue to believe a bunch of contradictory nonsense stories

In pretty much any department of the university — in my experience at least — there’s a person with a small-but-private office and an unassuming title (probably including a word like “secretary” or “assistant”), usually an older woman, and she actually runs the place. Faculty defer to her; department heads come and go, but Jill has been there for thirty years and knows how everything works, and she’s the person you go to if you want to get anything done. You’ll know her because when a professor directs you to her they won’t say “you need to talk to the Office of So-and-So because this falls under their purview”, but “you need to talk to Jill.” Her official job title is basically irrelevant because her actual role is acting as eminence grise for this whole operation.

Is this about all the women that industry and pretty much the world depends on and defers to but won’t give the title or proper compensation for the job they do or am I reading it wrong
