I NEED. Alice having a vague, half joking crush on fr3-d1 for most of her time working there. Over the years the joke flirting with it isn't so much of a joke but she still plays it as one, especially since it's just a computer, what's she supposed to do with that? She just gets more into the robot girl kink posts on Tumblr and doesn't draw too much of a connection. And then after the events of season 1 ending. There's one of those "wires got crossed and now my trauma is kind of a kink" moments and she developes a full on objectum obsession with fr3-d1 that she is SO consumed by guilt over she pushes HARD in the other direction in front of everyone around her, but she lays in bed at night during the day thinking about it instead of getting sleep. And I'm NOT talking cutesy crush anymore. It is an all consuming trauma bond with the thing she Knows is going to actually consume her in one way or the other in the end that she tries so so hard to ignore but it gets worse every day. Points for when/if Colin fr3-d1 comes up in some way or another and that just makes a whole new layer of obsession and guilt twist in her gut. She refuses to think about how it would feel if she just let it consume her too. She's horrified by it. It's all she thinks about. Meanwhile, she's fr3-d1s administrator. She's it's longest friend. She's the one who likes to baby talk and flirt at it. She's the one it goes to for help. She's the one who can actually make it. She's whatever missing piece it needs for (???). And her fear is so fucking good. She tries to keep it so on lock it's almost a tease, but those moments it can feel it? The moments she lies and says she's fine? That fear is SO all consuming.
