This recipe combines the smokey flavor of BBQ salmon with the nutty taste of sesame noodles to make a meal that is both tasty and filling that is great for any event.
Ingredients: 4 salmon fillets. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons honey. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. 8 oz noodles such as soba or udon. 2 tablespoons sesame seeds. 2 green onions, thinly sliced. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Remove salmon from marinade, reserving excess marinade. Grill salmon fillets for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through, basting occasionally with reserved marinade. While the salmon is grilling, cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Add cooked noodles, sesame seeds, and green onions. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until heated through. Season noodles with salt and pepper to taste. Serve BBQ salmon fillets alongside sesame noodles. Enjoy!
