I'm aiming for a mini-marathon, but...
... can I even run?
I'm going to do a medical examination on the 5th of July - a holter, more precisely. And then my cardiologist will tell me if my heart can take running or not. And if I can... I really want to improve my endurance. Last time I checked how many minutes I could run without stopping, my limit was 6 minutes. But that was years and years ago. So now... it's probably a lot less.
This is what I'm going to try to do on the 5th of July:
(2 minutes jogging + 3 minutes walking fast) x 5 + 5 minutes of cooldown
That will be: 10 minutes of running, 15 minutes of walking fast and 5 minutes of walking normally
Until that day, I will keep on working out on my indoor bike and on Ring Fit Adventure (an exercise game for the Nintendo Switch).
PS: The competition I'm talking about, the mini-marathon, is of 6 km (3.73 miles) and it's in September.
WORKOUT FITNESS http://tinyurl.com/n4aykxa
Still trying
One month and one week ago, I weighted 82,4 kg (181.66 lbs) which meant my BMI was almost 27. Now I weight 78,4 kg (172,84 lbs), which means my BMI is 25.6. I lost 4 kg (8.82 lbs) in just 5 weeks! I couldn't be happier about my weight loss!
What helped me lose weight:
I began counting calories (I do not advise people who have eating disorders or those who have those tendencies to do this. I'm definitely not one of those people, though)
I reduced the quantity of oat milk (I'm not vegetarian now, I'm vegan). I used to drink 1 litre of oat milk, thinking it didn't matter much because it wasn't that caloric. Well, it does matter. 1 litre is way too much. Now I drink 150 ml at breakfast and 200 ml at lunch. So just 350 ml (0.35 litres) per day.
I weight my lunch and eat between 150 and 200 grams (5.29 oz / 7 oz) of food.
I drink 2 litres of water per day.
I drink tea after my afternoon snack. More precisely, 1 litre of tea. Usually, I drink it hot because I feel it helps me more not to feel hungry than drinking it cold.
At dinner... I eat a lot more than at lunch. But I will start to weight my dinner and aim for a maximum of 250 (8.82 oz) or perhaps 300 grams (10.58 oz). I'm still not sure what to aim for.
I try to not eat the same afternoon snack two days in a row, so I won't grow tired of always eating the same thing.
When I eat bread in the afternoon, I eat just 50 grams (1.76 oz) of whole bread. And then I add pâté (lupin bean pâté is the best! It's low in calories, has lots of protein and is very tasty!)
When I'm hungry and it's not dinner time yet, I eat a piece of fruit.
I do not eat anything after dinner. Dinner is my last meal of the day.
Weight loss, the long journey...
Before I began trying to lose weight, I almost weighted 80kg/176lbs. At first it was easy: 2,5kg/5.5lbs less in just a week. Now, after more than 3 years, the journey still continues... Three years have passed and I still weight more than 70kg/154lbs! I feel ridiculous.
I try to lose weight.
I quit.
I try to lose weight.
I quit.
I really need to persist and stop quitting every time. But it seems nearly impossible. I feel this is destined to fail.

I lost 2,5kg/5.5lbs on the first week and now my weight has been the same for 2 weeks...
2,5kg/5.5lbs less in one week...
I lost 2,5kg/5.5lbs in one week... but I think it may be too much. I’m worried I’m doing something wrong in my diet and I don’t want it to be unhealthy.
This is what I’ve been doing:
Cardio every day;
Green tea every day (to get my metabolism faster);
Eating every 3 hours;
Breakfast:
One light yogurt;
Some healthy cereals (Jordan’s);
Lunch:
Whatever I want, as long as I don’t exaggerate on the amount of food and I also avoid a meal with too much fat. I’m vegetarian, by the way;
4PM snack:
3, 4 or 5 fruits with a light yogurt;
Dinner:
Soup
Please give me your opinions! Am I doing something wrong? Am I exaggerating?
This is apparently coming out in 3 days.
In 3 days, I’m going to start to be a total jogging addict, I think
I’ve been beta testing it and I can confirm it’s actually the greatest app ever. Full iOS release date is as specified, Android release this Spring.
It’s so intense, at one point during the first mission when radio contact was lost, I could hear them trying to contact me “Can you hear us?!” and I literally grabbed the mic and shouted, “I CAN HEAR YOU WHAT DO I DO?” even though that’s not how it works.
I’m just glad nobody was near me.
Alright yall sit your asses down I’m telling you a story I have this app and it is one of my best purchases I’ve ever had. It endorses your running and makes you work. The only downside is that it is fucking terrifying. One time, I was running, and got surrounded by zombies. Groaning and shuffling from all angles. And I have never ran that fast in my entire life. I completed my course(which usually takes 15 mins) in 5. I was also screaming a bit. I got some really weird looks, too. So, morale of the story: This is a fucking scary app and I recommend it 100%.
CrossFit risk of injury
I know there’s a high risk of joint injury in CrossFit. But do you think that joint injuries are still possible if I don’t exagerate?
I was thinking of starting to go to the swimming pool for some exercise but - for what I've read on the internet - it's not a very efficient way of trying to lose weight.
Any opinions on this?

Weight Watchers Before and After | fitblr weight loss fat weight before and after eating healthy fitness …
I've gained so much weight that I had to begin dieting. The problem is... it hasn't done much - I'm still overweight. So I really need to start working out again - IF my heart lets me. I have an abnormally rapid heart rate so even going upstairs leads to tachycardia. Obviously that interferes with almost any workout, but specially cardio, which is the one that burns most fat! I'm thinking of increasing the dosage of the beta blocker I'm currently taking and hopefully I'll start working out again soon!
I love this 0703 http://is.gd/xCokuS
It’s summer and it’s hot as hell (I’m in Arizona, so that statement is legitimately accurate). But while it’s too hot to run outside, the treadmill gets boring and I always wonder how the hell anyone could read a damn book/magazine while they’re running. So if you’re like me and need different entertainment… Here is a list to help you with your treadmill struggles.
Race the people next to you.
Copy literally every movement the person next to you does.
Pretend that you are singing the song that is playing to a massive arena filled with people and they are all singing along and you are totally more famous than Ellie Goulding and you’re a star.
Realize that you actually are a star (in your own special way).
Make up elaborate back stories for every person you see in the gym.
Combine the stories to create a really epic battle and/or romantic comedy.
Listen to audio books.
Remember you have homework and start profusely sweating from stress and not from the run.
Force your friends to go to the gym with you so you can talk to them.
Force your boyfriend to go to the gym with you so you can talk to them.
Talk to yourself because you have no friends to workout with.
Wonder if the reason you have no friends is because you talk to yourself in public places.
Realize you don’t care
Watch a TV show.
Think about the vast and terrifying future.
Think about all the cute clothes you are going to buy after you are shredded from this workout.
Go back to conversations from the past where you didn’t have a good come back and make up a really good one.
Be mad that you didn’t think of it sooner.
Decide which guys in the room you would hook up with given the chance.
Do the same for girls (look I’m straight but if I saw Olivia Wilde at the gym I’d still try to get it).
Think about what you will name your future children.
Or dogs.
Come up with some really insightful conversation starters to have in the future.
Forget them by the time you’re done running.
Picture Chris Evans running directly in front of you.
Picture Chris Evans running directly in front of you… Naked.
Try to hide the fact that you are picturing Channing Tatum naked.
Do the same for Ryan Gosling.
And Channing Tatum.
Think about the delicious (and healthy) meal you are going to eat after this amazing workout.
Dance like no one is watching.
Dance like people are watching and just don’t give a fuck.
Pretend you are currently running an Olympic race and someone from Team Canada is right on your tail and if you don’t finish running that damn Canadian and her bacon are going to catch you.
Just run and zone out and let those endorphins kick in because endorphins make you happy and happy people just don’t shoot their husbands. They just don’t.
MUSIC suggestions?
Tell me what's your favourite motivational music for working out. =)
