If you lose followers the moment you post about feminism, veganism, anti-speciesism, social justice, etc. Consider it as filtering followers, you really don't need people who feel uncomfortable when you talk about equality, rights, and justice; there's a reason they're bothered when you talk about those topics. They can fuck off.

The problem with non-vegans arguments against veganism is that they think veganism is about doing absolutely no harm in the world, when veganism is actually about reducing harm in the world.

Kinda interesting how infrequently I see leftists ever make points about westerners doing factory farming. Its a pretty clear case where the "indigenous ways" are objectively morally superior, since they just involve hunting and not torturing animals for their entire lives. At the same time, the most stringent advocates for abstaining from meat and factory farming are non-white cultures (Hindus and Buddhists) Instead I mostly see either hokey claims about how indigenous people are mystically in tune with nature or how Americans need to care less about animals.
