Indulge in the ultimate grilled cheeseburger that combines the best of both worlds - a juicy beef patty with the cheesy goodness of grilled cheese sandwiches. This mouthwatering creation will satisfy all your burger cravings.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. Salt and pepper to taste. 8 slices of cheddar cheese. 8 hamburger buns. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons ketchup. 2 tablespoons mustard. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 8 lettuce leaves. 8 tomato slices. 8 pickle slices. Butter for grilling.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Make 8 patties out of the ground beef that are all the same size. Add salt and pepper to each patty. The patties should be grilled for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are done the way you like them. Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and let it melt in the last minute of grilling. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the hamburger buns while the patties are cooking. Put ketchup and mustard in a small bowl and mix them together. Put this sauce on the top halves of the buns. Take the patties off the grill when they are done. Start by putting a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun. Then add a tomato slice, a cheese-covered patty, sliced onions, and a pickle slice. Put the other half of the bun on top, sauce side down. On the outside of each burger bun, spread butter. Putting the burgers together on the grill should take about two to three minutes on each side, or until the buns are golden and crispy and the cheese is melty. Take a bite of your hot grilled cheeseburger and enjoy it!
