1. Xie Lian

Unlike SQQ, XL has had points in his life where he just absolutely loses it, but he also dragged himself up from all that crap into being the calmest, most rational member of his rotating crew of dumbasses. This man has achieved enlightenment. 9.5/10.

2. Shen Qingqiu

Cranky millennial very practiced at avoiding all forms of drama. In moments of extreme stress, reacts by being externally chill while internally screaming and tearing his hair out. Kinda dense, but he's stressed about his impending torture-murder and I can't blame him for that. Very good effort. 8/10.

3. Wei Wuxian

Yes he did go on a vengeance spree where he made this one guy eat his own legs but come on- it was a stressful time. When his family isn't in peril WWX is a pretty laid-back guy. He just really likes the ~emo aesthetic~ and people assume that (and the necromancy) means he's regularly howling into the void. Which is rude because he only did that like thrice. 7/10

4. Lan Wangji

You ask me "how on Earth is Lan Zhan not higher on this list?" and I say- dude. Dude. There is nothing chill about this motherfucker. Lan Zhan lost his chill the moment he met WWX on that rooftop. He tried valiantly to be chill for a while there, but he was pretty far gone by the time he composed romantic music for this one guy he was stuck at summer camp with. He named his adopted son "to recollect and long for." He injured a bunch of senior citizens after giving a tearful speech about how he doesn't give a fuck about right and wrong. He spent a decade and a half being a mourning widower to a guy who thought he hated him. People only think he's chill because it's hard to get past the resting bitchface. However, I will give him an extra half point for being able to sincerely roll his eyes at WWX. 5.5/10.

5. Hua Cheng

Now you want to ask me; "Hua Cheng? Surely he is the epitome of chill? The most unflappable of ghosts?" To which I say- remember that cave? The one with all the statues? The casual handing over of his ashes? The sincere regret in his voice when he apologizes for not having sculpted a usable sword for his 100-ton statue, followed by his assurance that this won't happen the next time he carves a mountain into an image of his crush? Age has given Hua Cheng the apearance of being chill but he has never stopped being a hyperventilating fanboy at heart and he would be insulted if you suggested not being one. 3/10.

6. Luo Binghe
