Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1 tsp sugar. 1 tsp active dry yeast. 1/2 cup warm water. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1 tbsp vegetable oil.
Instructions: In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it foams. In a mixing bowl, add flour and salt. Mix well. Pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and knead until you have a smooth dough. Drizzle vegetable oil over the dough and knead it in until fully incorporated. Cover the dough and let it rest for 1 hour or until it doubles in size. Punch down the dough and knead in the baking powder until well combined.
