My mum's an NHS nurse and has been her whole life.
She asked for a rainbow to take to work so I made her this this morning....my partner who is also essential services took it to her today.

I talked about this a lot before, but I started to really appreciate him as my disability representation. It gets me so emotional, especially the Wakanda scenes, when he’s at peace & without prosthetic arm. I truly hope he’ll get some happy story-lines in the future.

Paper Cup Life Hack
I was really having trouble keeping up my fluids and I love juice but being a student I only have 2 glasses and don’t always have the energy to wash them . So I would go without.
Then! My mum got me a pack of 30 paper cups from the pound shop. And I can pour myself a small cup of juice and throw away the cup once I’m finished and have plenty more. Maybe not the most environmentally friendly, but it’s better then a big pack of one use water /juice plastic bottles.
It saves me energy and keeps me drinking more fluids. Very simple but really helps

One of my favourite parts of working with kids is like… Very Gently subverting their idea of gendered topics… Like if a girl goes ‘no, sharks are a boy thing’ and you go “UM ACTUALLY THATS STUPID AND INCORRECT” they get freaked out, but if instead u go “Are you sure? Cause I think sharks are awesome, here’s a scale picture of a Megalodon” it’ll blow their tiny mind and they’ll be shitting themselves over it for days. 100% effective, 10/10 recommend

So in sharing the love, I tell my sister she should read it and immediately she turns and says “it’s not another gay thing is it?! I’m not gay!”.
