Paris food tour.
Lisbon by storm ...aka seafood heaven
Ramen of London
Riga, Latvia: Beautiful food, beautiful people.
Handmade Chinese empanadas:
Filling: Glass noodles, ground pork (five spice, ground pepper), cut-up shrimp, chives, cooked scrambled eggs, olive oil, and add salt at the very end to prevent water buildup.
Dough: 4 cups of flour for 1 1/4 cup of water. Knead the dough together, cut up into cubes and roll it out into individual circles.
After the empanadas are filled in and sealed, heat the pan on medium, pour in oil and fry until golden brown. Add a bit of water and make sure it's fully absorbed.

Favourite food in Kingston, Ontario @ Golden Viet Thai

My favourite part of El Tunco, El Salvador
There can never be too many tapas dishes. Starting from the top, oven roasted tomatoes (cut thick...ALWAYS), jalapeño, and olives with pesto and garlic oil. Followed by sautéed shrimp in bacon oil, garlic, and sweet white wine. Then some oven roasted baby potatoes and pipianes (squash family veg) with rosemary and olive oil. Finished with caramelized onion and a load of bacon. Always always eat with lots of wine...could make for a good night after a long hard day.
Eat something good.
Saying good morning with a cup of joe!
Food tour around Antigua, Guatemala.
Highlight being tapas platter at Sobremesa, with sweet chutney, chipotle, and cream onion sauce followed by an organic fig/blackberry and garlic steak with homemade garlic oil and cherry red wine.
Will return pronto.

Here's an eating tour around NYC this spring.
Top: Pastrami sandwich from Katz Deli. The place is a zoo but sandwiches are out of this world. Please don't order things like philly cheesesteak or grilled cheese sandwiches when you sit down. The couple of girls sitting next to us got something generic and got mocked by the waiter. Get something they're known for...such as this fatty, melty pastrami.
Eataly Marketplace was a really nice surprise: mushrooms, parmesan cheese (I think they have a wheel room), fresh beautiful octopus, veal...the list goes on.
Grimaldi's pizza: this was good but we had to wait for an hour outside in the freezing cold. I would think twice before doing that.
Union square: they sell some beautiful finger lake wines that are 100% natural and organic. The sampling alone made my day.
Sakagura: Easily, my top 3 favourite restaurants ever. Their lunch and dinner menus are quite different but I have never been disappointed there. This Oke Bento had vegetable tempura, pickles, unagi, tamago, steak, sweet bean taro, sweet potato, onigiri (rice balls) with mint and sesame, as well as a beautiful selection of sashimi with varying textures. For dessert, it seemed like their black sesame creme brûlée and dark chocolate soufflé were favourites.
Dumplings galore! Southern and northern style.
