The Dragons are the strongest. Even leaving aside Ragno, their team is full of strong Tama users. The worst they got is a tie with the Roses.

Speaking of the Roses, they've been carried hard by Falco with his powerful Tama and honed skills. This kid trains whenever he can! Even though he's a freshman, he seems to take the sport more seriously than anyone on his team. This is their biggest problem. Out of all the teams, they are the most chill and friendly. They don't go all out like more ''evil'' and determined teams. With Falco out of the game, they're the weakest team. They've lost against much weaker Knights before the tournament started properly. Sure, you might chalk it up to them not taking the Knights seriously at the time, being surprised by Ameline's Tama, and having to play against fresh and rested Odward, but still, it's not a good look. After the whole Falco ordeal, the Roses might finally lock in. They might still think Ameline had something to do with Falco losing his Tama.

The Bards are obviously strong. Dare I say, second strongest after the Dragons. Especially after the Shadows lost Pregrina and her powerful Tama. The only reason for their defeat was Key's powerful Tama getting out of control.

The Knights, the titular underdogs, have Odward, one of the All-Stars team members, Ssyelle with a time-slowing Tama, Key with a Dragon Tama, Ameline with her Tama-draining power, and Milo with his "weak" Tama, which is quite versatile and can be used with other Tamas to great effect! Despite their powers, they don't feel artificially weaker or overpowered. That's less about the team itself and more about the writing team.

The Shadows, I'm sorry, you are my favorite team, but the episodes you're in and the promo material don't paint you in the most flattering light. You're going to have to beat the fraud allegations.

Pregrina? Without the diadem, she's useless. Conan? Despite having a Tama that lets him see into the future, he doesn't think to use it, even if it could be very helpful. Maybe the show is building him up? His eyes glow purple, and he has a jewel around his neck. If they were to repeat Pregrina, "The Captain has a magical jewellery that enhances their powers, so now let's focus on taking it off to turn the tide of the game.", I would be very disappointed.

Shadow's biggest problem is that Sanga, instead of training his students, decides to cheat and change the team's composition. Seemingly without any strategy, just as a punishment, or ''You're tired? Next kid!'' Why did Freki, the striker, play defense? Why is Cleo, the stopper, now the goalkeeper?

Her Tama is good for that role, but did you really kick Pregrina out of the team after one defeat, after a string of victories?! You don't even try to keep her and train her?! Furthermore, since so many of the Shadows' victories depended on the team being possessed by spirits, it's safe to assume that their players aren't as experienced and haven't developed their own strength, speed, etc., nor developed strategies with their own Tamas in mind. Let's move on to Freki ''Fraud'' Savarog. He is praised by the commercials and the show, but all we see is him screwing his own team over by fouling Odward, getting his ass kicked by Key, and the commercials for future episodes are not flattering him either. Showing him getting whooped by Ragno!

I love this image of them! The look on their faces screams ''We are so fucked!''. It's the first time we see Freki's eye and not just a glim in it.

They have the potential to become a formidable team if they focus on actual training instead of cheating and running errands for Sanga.
