Steve doesn’t know exactly where he’s going, only that he needs to fucking drive faster. Billy is dying. He could be dying too, and Steve needs to get to Billy before either of those things happen. 

“Steve, STEVE! HELLO!” Robin shouts, breaking his eyes off the winding road to look at his wide-eyed and terrified friend. 

“Robin, I saw him,” he croaks, throat tight with complicated emotion. "He's hurt! We- We have to- before it's too late!”

”You saw him, him who? Billy?”

“Yes! Who the fuck else would I be talking about,” Steve snaps.

“Oh gee, I’m sorry dingus, my bad! One second we were talking about your skeeve of a dad and the next you started screaming!”

Which, is fair, he will give Robin that. But that still doesn't change the fact that, 

“Billy’s dying.”

“WHAT?”

“I- I don't know,” Steve huffs, squinting through the dash, the snow is starting to pick up. Fucking shit. “My body might be too. I’m freezing right now.”

”Okay,” Robin nods, cranking his car heater and recovering surprisingly for all that's transpired in the last 2 minutes. “But, I mean, do you even know where he is?”

“Uh-” Steve says, taking a sudden left turn much faster than he really should have given his speed and the road conditions. “I think he's at the quarry.”

“You don’t know?”
